been to mum & baby group today!

iv never been to one b4. and millie hasnt really met any other babies
my boyfs told me off coz not only is it nicer for millie to socialise with other babies, but i was spending too much just to "get out of the house"! a typical day would be a walk to sainsburys cafe where i'd spend £2 on drinks, £3 on magazines and £2 on a tiny packet of fruit. its easy to spend nearly £10 on nothing innit!

anyway, we enjoyed it! it was just a room with a big playmat full of toys and chairs around the mat. the mums sat on the chairs, the ones with tiny babies holding them, and the bigger babies played on the mat. millie was really interested in all the other babies! i saw my boyfs SIL and millies twin cousins there so was talking to her. the 90 minutes flew by!

omygosh it was sooooooo hot in there! i bet the other babies were roasting! (they all had proper outfits on- jeans, sweaters, jackets, shoes etc; millie as usual just wore a sleepsuit. she does hav outfits but i like her to be comfy and unrestricted- if u cant when ur a baby when can u? lol!)
i BF millie there too.

Glad you enjoyed it - we're going to a breastfeeding group tomorrow for the 1st time! I guess you'r in the same boat as me in that having the baby at home, you never met any new mums.

When the Sure Start Lady came to see me last week she said that there was another girl who had been in our antenatal class who was interested but was nervous about going as she didn't know anyone. I told her to give her my number and she called his evening so we're meeting up at 12 tomorrow!
