PITBULL CLAIMS ANOTHER INNOCENT LIFE!

yes thats good...i hate it too

also bull fighting really upsets me any one that does it should be shot

some people are fucked up it's the way of the world. fox hunting, badger baiting, cock fights, dog fights, dancing bears, invading another country for their resources, invading another country because their political/religious views don't match your own

I just hate to think of any living creature suffer.

i watched some thing about the Bears they make dance etc. was so sad the bears end up going insane :(
i always feel sorry for donkeys that do the donkey rides. i will never let my children go on them its a shame
they are often at warwick park. in the summer when its so hot :( poor things.
your like me beanie even cry at planet earth

Its not too bad for the donkeys, they get looked after, fed and watered and the rides are a good form of excersise for them, just like horseriding...

Exploitation of animals in any shape or form is downright evil in my book, when will people learn respect?

Maybe when we've wiped out enough species to effect our own lives

Dionne I am banned from watching any nature programmes as it just upsets me. I agree GGG, the human race is too up its own arse to see that this isn't just our world we are destroying. Wwe are the only speices that kills for fun

Thing is the more gangs and druggies use these type of dogs in this way, the more the breed will be tarnished.

Yes little dogs don't arf yap and nip but they can't do the amount of damage the big dogs do and it's not like they can over power you too (most can be held back by 1 hand, scruff of neck where they can't get you)

Me and my dog have been attacked by loads of staffies but they've all been owend by chavs that let them do what they want (and even egg em on)

However I've also been attacked by a Golden Retreiver and probably wouldn't be here today if Sam (who was on his harness still) hadn't of reared up and grabed it. Then chased it over the road when I dropped the lead (my hand was bleeding and really hurting from the Golden's bite)

Poor Sam has a permantly damaged lip cos of it now and the owners don't care. It's always escaping and attacking people :(

i have two staffies female and they are the most loving affectionate dogs and they look very similar to the pitbull people look terrified when we walk them but they have a great reputation as a family pet and are great with children even pitbulls are good dogs if trained properley they do have agressive trates but towards animals and sometimes strangers but it is inexperianced owners and owners who allow there dogs to be alone with small children who are to blame, they are pwerful dogs and were bred for fighting but make great pets if treated with respect i love my dogs they have grown up with our children but i would never leave them alone with the children and i dont its just common sense.

thats what we were thinking of getting if we get a dog when we move, a staffie :D

I would never leave a child alone with a dog no, and that little girl was left alone with the dog in the room and she woudnt of known any better and probly tried playing with it or something as children do and are abit rough sometimes .. poor girl, i say blame whatever idiots left her alone in the room and the owner

this is what i was saying to a friend of mine earlier...loads of chavs own staffies, they are like the burberry of dog breed and they think its hilarious to teach them to attack, growl and bite its sick

found this ..

English Bull Terriers and Staffordshire Bull Terriers make perfectly good pets if they are bred from temperamentally sound parents and are properly reared and socialised.

That, of course, is true for almost every breed of dog on the planet!

Both Staffies and English Bull Terriers are particularly good with children.

The Staffordshire can be aggressive with other dogs but so can many other breeds. The English Bull Terrier is a bit more easy going with other dogs but as either breed is capable of doing serious damage they should be properly socialised and supervised.

They both make great family pets as they are outgoing and very friendly with people.

In the UK these dogs have been selectively bred for many years for good temperament although some lines were ruined by macho half-wits deliberately mating aggressive dogs in order to produce fighting dogs.

Fortunately there are loads of reputable breeders who continue to breed good sound dogs.

Thanks for posting that cassi, it just goes to show really!

I cant beleive that the little girl was left alone in a room with a dog that was KNOWN to be dangerous, thats just asking for trouble isnt it? And it also shows that it wasnt just the dog at fault, the problem with these dogs being trained so badly is that they dont know they are doing somethung wrong, they are just doing what thier alpha leader has told them is right.

I had 2 female staffies and they were the most adorable, loyal and affectionate dogs I ever had. They also attended kennel club staffy training so that they were brought up properly. They adore children and are very protective towards them however like any dog you wouldnt leave them unattended with small kids. The older of the 2 absolutely hated strange dogs though so she had to be properly controlled outside and never off her lead. I also found that my girls were ALWAYS attacked first and eventually they'd retaliate and when staffs give warnings they sound fierce so they'd get the blame when they hadn't even started it!

One time one of my girls was on her lead and attacked by a loose dog and the owner had a fit on me to "control my dog" which was STILL on the lead. To say I gave them a mouthful was an understatement!

Would highly recommend the breed so long as you are serious and have the time to spare as they are very demanding for attention. Never buy from a chav either as the pups take on the early socialisation from the mother and if they're not properly trained or have been used purely to breed then you'll have a problem pup.

Always ask for a diet sheet and SEE the mother, preferably the father too, look at how they live, are the dogs kept outside when you intend on having the dog live in the house etc etc?

They also need tons of exercise so with a new baby dont bother as they'll get destructive and chew everything if not walked enough. Wait till the kids are older :)

the same has happened to my dogs a pair of staffie males attacked them not on there leads the owner just watched and when one of mine bit back he went mad they were on leads and my eldest ash had a cut lip was bleeding he had the cheek to tell me to control them his dogs wouldnt leave us alone and were barking and biting my two i didnt now what to do so i kicked the dog off and he was swearing at me, ash was upset for weeks afterwards shes very sensitive, ITS THE OWNERS THAT GIVE THESE DOGS A BAD NAME.

Ummm you've obviously never had to restrain a small dog! they are worse than larger breeds. Little dogs easily get out of a scruff hold and can still give a good bite! they wriggle and scratch with their legs.
Big dogs you can get your weight behind them, and get a good hold round their neck and front legs. Believe me i've sat on afew dogs in my time...

Little dogs tend to go blue and pop their eyes out!

ALL dogs are dangerous and need carefull training - its just that they get in to the wrong hands and get treated as a status symbol and a weapon.
But even the most mild mannered dog can turn nasty - never EVER leave a child alone with a dog.

Oh I've had to restrain pleanty of small dogs.

Worked in a rescue kennels and also with guard dogs during my time.

i hate it when people look scared when they see me with my staffy , you serioulsy cant judge the whole breed by some that are brought up in way that the only thing they know how to do his fight . But as much as millie is the most daftest , loving doggy she is pretective and clingy and i have been concerned about what will happen when a baby arrives , simple , they'll never be left alone and any signs of anything untoward and she'll go to live with my mum . ive been breeding dogs since i was a toddler it seems lol mum breeds border collies and border terriers , she's also got a rotty too (big dope on a rope i can tell ya lol) sometimes pups can be wrongens but just like a child educating them and bringing them up correctly is 90% to do with how they turn out , teach them there not the pack leader !

if that pit was known to be a wrongen it should never have been near the child no , but we have no toher info about why it even was ? didnt it happen at night ? much thought goes to her familly , and i hope justice is done if the dog is found out to be unliscenced and it will mean the owner has to take respnsibilty for that lil girls death.

thought id post a couple of pics of my staffy too
