Hi,

I am in my first week of taking the pill (this is my 3rd month back on it). I have been ill all weekend with sickness and diarhoea, i am just wondering if my pill will still work.

No - If you have had sickness and diarreah you need to abstain from intercourse or use back-up methods while you are ill and for 7 days after you feel better.

no i think thats why i got pregnant cos i took the pill religiously but was ill around the time i concieved

If i were pregnant i would be over the moon. But i doubt that very much as we were trying for 2 1/2 years and then i decided to go back on the pill as we have just bought a new house so we thought we would try in about a years time.
