pill question

iv just come to the end of my first pack of combined pill since before i was pregnant. i was BFing for 8 months then i carried on with my mini-pill for a bit and started the "full" pill without a break.

i havent had a period since before i was pregnant, which i put down to BFing.

im on day 5 of no-pill, and no period- its usually 3 or 4 days after i stop the pills. i wouldnt be suprised if i dont get one tho coz i suspect that possibly underneath the pill hormones my own hormones are still not back to normal from BFing- if i squeeze my right nipple i still get a drop out.

SO, what im wondering is- do i wait for a period before i start another pill pack? thats what happened when i got preggas with millie i sat around waiting for a period that never showed up!

not ready for another waa-waa just yet lol, so if i start the new pills when should i start them? day 7? and if my period arrives on day 7 should i wait til its finished b4 i start the pills?

ARGH im confused! no wonder so many women get preg on the pill

Hmm I dont really know but I do know that the mini pill can stop your periods! I didnt have periods while on cerazette! Maybe some of that is still in your system?
I would just carry on with the pills tbh! They should still work!
Oh gosh I have no idea really! I only like the pill that you continually take!

I'd take your pill as you should after the 7 day break luv!

The things that have happened to me in the past when I've been changing pill are -

Not having a period during my break and then starting bleeding during my pack, and it not stopping till I'm back on a break again IYKWIM.

Not having a period at all for a few months (ended up changing my pill, as that one wasn't right for me)

personally I wouldn't wait, I'd just continue with taking the pill tbh

I was on the combined pill for years and I never had a period at all. You should just start taking it again after 7 days or you won't be covered. I was told it can be normal to not have a period in your break for some people.

its a pain in the bum isnt it? Just when you think all the problems are over after having a baby your body makes sure you have one more stress with mucking up your periods!!

I starting taking the pill 6wks after my monster was born and basically spotted the whole way through it. I didnt have a break between the 1st and 2nd packet (pfft thought after id basically bled for the last 2months i wanted a break!) didnt happen tho coz ive continued to spot through this sencond pack up until about a week ago. so im hoping to have my first proper period when i finish this second pack on thurs. but i wouldnt be suprised if i have the same thing as you - no period. Im going to wait 7 days then move on to the next pack period or not.

this is how my son was concieved with stop start periods and querying over when to start the next pack so im guna make sure i start taking it after the 7 day break and stock up on the good ole condoms as well!! just incase me not ready for another waa-waaa yet either!!
