Not sure if here is the best place to post but here goes anyway. I started a progesterone only pill on 18th Jan on cd6, I took the whole packet and stopped on 14th Feb where I started lightly spotting. Counted 17th Feb as cd1 as spotting turned heavier, then lightened off again but I have been lightly spotting up until yesterday when it got heavier again cd14 so is that cd1 again or what I'm so confused and do fed up of the bleeding, wish I never started the damn pill! I was meant to get the coil yesterday but because of the snow the appointment was cancelled and I'm not sure if I want to rebook it.

The broodiness is really not helped when my 3 year old and 5 year old have come out several times that they want me to have a baby! Well actually Harry wants twins lol but boys not girls and James wants a sister. Wish it was as easy as that to give them what they want lol xx

That pill is vile, I’ve had bleedings of all kinds on it. I’ve just come off it and waiting to come on. See if you have a period like bleed then go from there? Can’t give you a definite answer, sorry.

Maybe have a frank convo with OH? Say how much another one would be wonderful and that you never regret children! I’m sure I’ve read a previous post of yours and he’s said he doesn’t and I know it hard as you feel like you’re pestering and worried you’re just going to dig their heels in further but the feeling of broodyness can be painful sometimes and it’s hard to get that across without sounding like a hormonal, baby brain crazy lady ha.

Hope you’re bleeding sorts it’s self out soon x

Thank you for replying Ellie. Still bleeding today and not as heavy as yesterday, wish I knew what was going on as it's been 19 days now.

It's been a while since I've had a proper chat with hubby, but he is very good at bringing it up and how adamant he is that he doesn't want more :( like he somehow mentioned about the lack of sleep due to a newborn and said bet you've forgotten how bad it is and how he doesn't want to do that again. In fact he probably mentions it more times than I do, which is a bit of a kick in the stomach to me so I don't dare say anything myself. Even yesterday with the kids saying they want a baby he was very quick to say several times that it isn't going to happen! :(

Just need to stay patient and hope in the future he changes his mind. One friend waited 2.5 years for her hubby to agree to a 3rd and she caught on her 1st month trying and is now 8 weeks xx

Those first months are nothing compared to the joy a child can bring:(

I’m sorry your hubby feels that way, like you said, hopefully he’ll change his mind in the future, big hugs to you, at least you can come here to vent and get your frustrations out x

He might lighten up a bit as time goes on Hun. A few people seem to have dubious bleeds on the pill.... must be annoying! X
