I'm using my old shitty iPhone 3G again I've got a galaxy s3 and it's the dogs doo-dahs! Only problem is it's really expensive to fix if you've not got it insured first phone I haven't insured and I dropped it on s concrete floor and smashed the LCD or whatever it is screen and all the dye ran

OHs got the iPhone 5 and I think the s3 wipes the floor with it. I'm totally over apple stuff, doesn't help that my phone really needs updating and until I do that I can't update most my apps, but it's jailbroken so I can use anoter network so can't update without having to get it jailbroken again

Pretty good thing for me with iPhone is that I can use it as a personal hotspot so I can use my iPad away from home as the iPad doesn't have 3G, don't know if your iPad does Gayle? But I think that's a fab feature. Xx

I have a samsung galaxy ace (im poor dont laugh) and love it! The camera is good its so easy to use and there is so much on the android market thats free. My dad has an iphone and gets annoyed that everything he wants to do costs so much money! xx

I have had my galaxy s2 almost 2 years and its been through water damage, dropped, chucked, the lot. Phones only ever last 1year max with me but this is perfect. Its fast, great camera, apps are mostly free, perfect. I'll stick with Samsung. Maybe the note 2 next xx

Thats true I've dropped my S2 far too many times and there's not even a chip on it. Iphone screens break sooo easy! x

Thanks girls! I went into vodafone to have a play about. Came away having decided on the S3 But not 100% as I liked the note2! Came home and read these posts so I'm glad its confirmed in my mind! Samsung seems a winner!

Cause I've the ipad (its 3g) I think I'd rather have the galaxy. Its camera is miles better and the girl in the shop says its got a better battery on it than the iPhone 5.

I'm 100% going to insure this phone-especially now little fingers may get to it! Vodafone charge £9.99 month tho! Anyone know if anywhere does cheaper? I've not got that facility on my bank account.

Was surprised to know I get 20% off my contract cause I'm an nhs employee. I must have missed that info! Bonus! now to pick a colour-black/white/blue!

Protect my bubble online is good for insurance! Really cheap! I can't wait for my upgrade so I can get the S3 x

I have insurance with my bank. It's handy. The insurance was £14 a month for mine.
Have a wee look online. You get companies that do mobile insurance if you google search xx

Phones 4 u do insurance for 6 quid a month , it doesn't cover loss of theft thou x

Protectyourbubble.com insure for a 50 quid excess at most at just 6 quid a month that includes water damage theft smashing it

Most insurers won't cover water damage as its high risk but these guys are great and I have an iphone 5 (brothers) insured and got a 10% discount

They also cover laptops cameras etc x highly recommend them

I would recommend IPhone all day long! I had 1 for 2 yrs then stupidly upgraded to an Xperia s! Biggest mistake ever!!! Ended up selling it and buying another iPhone lol
