periods after the pill

didnt know where to put this.

I stopped cerazette after 3months on it on the 28th december, but just before that i had flu and hadnt been taking it properly so iv gotta test to make sure theres no bbies coming. But how long does it take to get your periods back after stopping this pill. read so many things and dont want to go months without a period as silly as it sounds lol i want my body back to normal!!

i came off cerezette in feb 2009(after being on it for about 18months with no periods), bled really irregularly 2wks, 6wks 9wks 4wks, then got my normal cycle back in december 2009, fell pregnant in feb 2010,

ive just gone back on it after having Layla, and doc said it takes 3 days to get it out your system but can be up to 12-18 months before your cycles are back to normal,

i was really lucky with my other pill i came off it and everything went back to normal straight away but i can see this 1 being a pain in the bum lol x

I was on the same one for about 2/2.5 years. Came off 18 months ago and snapped straight back into 28 day cycle. The only issue I had was the period pains but I had them pretty bad in my early teens so wasn't too surprised. They have ow settled to a dull ache rather than curled up agony!

I suppose you never can tell what will happen, each of us is built differently

its pants cos we would like to try for baby no2 after Layla is about 9 months old, so i cant decide when to come off the pill, not that i like taking it cos its giving me reallllllllllllly bad joint pain in my knees, somedays im having to go up and down the stairs on my bum, which is ok, but not practical with a 2 month old baby, i was 2 stone heaver when preggers and could run up the stairs with no pain at all, so gona go back to docs and ask them to change me to a different one, i had the pain b4 when i was on it, but never associated it with it, but obviously when i was pregnant i was ok, and literally within a few days of being back on it, i was in pain and poppin painkillers every 4 hours again - not good

I tried it for a month and bled for two full weeks of it, not to mention gaining nearly a stone. Was NOT happy!!

i was ok on it tbh just got proper moody and at 1st i was a right bitch but then it calmed down, and i only had 2 little bleeds 2 weeks apart at begining then nothing so i was quite lucky. im thinking of going back on 1 tho.

Do you have to pay for the pill on prescription? i didnt get an excemption card when i was pegnant, but got them free anyway but as of saturday i wont get free prescriptions anymore x
