All day I've had period type pains in my lower back/lower front bump, I was feeling a bit achey down below which went away for a while but is back now albeit mildly. I've been having loose number 2s all week and today felt a little bit sick but not loads.

I've taken some paracetamol to see if that helps and I'm planning on a bath soon. I'm now trying to stop myself from wondering if this is early signs as I know if it is labour I could go on for weeks yet but then also keep reminding myself that all the above could be just part of pregnancy.

Any 2nd/3rd/4th opinions would be welcome!!

I have been experiencing cramps which sound very similar to this. I don't know if this is any reassurance as this is my first baby and like you, I have no idea what it means :? I'm guessing these are quite normal as I have read about other ladies having similar pains to these...

i've been having them too, i mentioned them in the thread i made about feeling sick. i had some paracetamol a few hours ago, but they did nothing. the bath in my new house is too small for me to get in! haha
i hope it's the start of something for us ladies!

I'm trying not to get my hopes up but nothing is helping with the back ache and if anything it's getting worse. I just hope this isn't the start of a long latent labour!!

I really hope its not labour for me for a good few weeks yet!

here's some...

****LABOUR DUST****

for you ladies nearer full term!

Oh I have been having them too! What a ball ache they are! lol Im so sick of pains now :wall:

I was gonna post something about this today. I,ve been getting period type pains in waves since last night.

It comes on then fades away after a bit and feels kinda like cross between bad period pain and trapped wind :rotfl:

I guess if it was starts of labour i'd feel it all over my bump. I just put it down to braxton hicks. Maybe its worth asking in the mums section to see if any of them had it before.

hope theres not going to be a surge of q jumpers lol :D

hope your all feeling better soon get hubbys/ partners to give you a nice massage :D

that's exactly how mine feel, after a while i realise they've gone, but as soon as i realise they're back again! had it all day yesterday, all night, and they don't seem to be fading today either. rubbish!

ive been getting them for a couple of weeks now told the consultant about them and he said it was due to a drop in hormone levels which your body does to get ready for the birth it can happen weeks before hand and told me it was normal and not to worry about it xxxxxx
