Hi all, probs nothing and being paranoid but yesterday driving home from London I had periodic sharp period type pains/shooting pains in my lower uterus area/lady parts which haven't happened before and didn't know if that was normal? They have happened a little this morning too. Kind of coincided with baby moving (but not all the time) and thought maybe if baby's wriggling away down below engaging more it might be just that? Not getting BHs so not thinking its early labour. Thanks for your thoughts in advance xx

I havent had shooting pains but i do notice it can get uncomfortable when baby is lying low or awkward.

Im sure it is normal, but if your worried just give your midwife a call for reassurance.

xx

A few of us have had the shooting pains.. Unfortunately there's not much you can do :(

I've been getting these pains, alot more recently.

I've been told its baby's head moving inside pelvis. I get mines along with movement so figure it must be due to baby's wriggling!

:)

Oh thanks ladies, didn't think it was anything major. Will just have to get used to them then. Just as long as baby nestles in down there and settles so gives me a chance of natural birth. Xx
