Period type cramps?!

Hi...I am just under 6 weeks pregnant. I have a few pregnancy symptoms e.g. nausea, sore boobs but have just started getting period like cramps in my belly. I have read that this is usually caused due to the womb expanding. Has anyone else experienced this?! I have had 3 miscarriages in the past and struggle to remember all the symptoms of pregnancy. Thanks

Sorry for your previous losses

I felt pre-period like cramps for a lot of the first trimester. Never knew that this was a pregnancy thing until I saw lots of ladies on here say the same. So yes, its normal

But of course if you experience quite strong, sharp pain, or any bleeding, that's time to seek medical advice

When I was pregnant with my son, I had bad cramps throughout the first trimester. This pregnancy I’ve barely had anything.
It’s probably normal, but if it’s too painful, bleeding or you are concerned, seek medical advice xx

Thank you ladies - that had made me feel better...the pains aren't sharp etc and no bleeding so taking that as a good sign��

Yes I’m 9 weeks and I get these every day, I was so worried at first but after a few scans (do to previous losses) I’ve just learnt to get on with them x

Like MrsBunny said, it's quite normal. I had them a lot during the first tri too! You only need to worry if they become severe or accompanied by bleeding so try not to worry! Best of luck xoxo
