period or still post partum bleeding tmi

i gave birth 5 weeks ago and got the depo shot a week after birth. my bleeding has been quite light for a few weeks but once or twice has stopped overnight. i now have period type pains in my lower abdo. i dont think its the uterus shrinking as i havnt had them for a week or two. the flow is kind of the same, once or twice a little bit heavier and sometimes brighter red.

anyone experienced a period without a break from after birth bleeding?

Yes me !!!! Literally only had bout 2 days break !!! Started taking my pill at day 21 after delivery and think my period came bout a week later !! Xxx

its just hard to tell as the flow hasnt changed much and only started getting pains yesterday, but now it hurts quite a bit x
