My bleeding has not stopped since I had Dylan although it has slowed down to almost stopping then it got heavier on Thursday and I have stomache pains again..Then it got much heavier yesterday with red blood...How do i know if its a period or the lochia?

When did you have your first period after your LO and were you b/feeding?

thats a long time hun you ought to ask your HV about that i bled for 3 weeks after having christopher then got my 1st period just over a week ago when he was 8 weeks xxxxxxx

i bleed for 6 weeks
and still havent started my first period
im not breastfeeding
it sounds like you could have started your period, id ask your HV just to make sure everything is ok

Hey hun,
I bled for about 14 days, then had light discharge for about another week.
I haven't had a period yet and L is now 8 weeks......maybe run it past HV

I have seen doc today. he says he thinks it is either that i have some placenta left or that it is part of my uterus not healing...he has given me twi lots of anti biotic and said if it continues he will send me for a scan.
