Is this my period?

I feel really silly asking this as its second time round for me, but i'm sure this didnt happen when I had Lily.....

My post partum bleeding stopped a few days before Bailey was 6 weeks old and the night before last I started to bleed again....is this my period after only a week and a half? Or has my post partum bleeding started again?

idk is it bright red and heavy? mine went pink after about 2 weeks and kept stopping and starting for another 6 weeks or so, but very light i only needed panty-liners. i'd imagine if its bright red and heavy it is a period? x

It could well be, hun. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I stopped bleeding about 3 weeks after giving birth to my son and then about 8 days later started my period. Had them regularly each month straight after that, even though I was breastfeeding. Not happy! x
