I'm trying to do 3 sets of 10 a day. Do you think I should do more?

Also as much as I'm trying not to, I can't help but wonder if my stomach muscles tighten when I do them and I try not to. Think I'm paranoid!!!

I only do them when I remember  I'm sure that if you are dedicating time to actually doing it then that's a great start. I doubt that you are doing your tummy muscles at the same time though, it's a different group so you should be fine there x

3sets of 10 is the recommended amount Hun so I am sure that's fine

Do them on the toilet! thats probably the best time cause you can see it working!

its ok to do a bit of tummy tightening but not too much. ive been going physio throughout my pregnancy and was given a leaflet on exercises during pregnancy and they have some mild ones for tummy tightening x

I do them while having sex, I find them a lot easier to do when I have something to squeeze lol! xx

I only remember once a day, and try to do ten short and ten holding it. But the baby always moves when i do it and i'm worried its waking/upsetting him!

The amount ur doing is fine hun! I worry about tummy muscles as well. Make sure ur breathing out whwn u pull ur muscle in and breatbe as normal while holding the muscle :-)

My hypnobirthing coach, who is also a midwife, told me to do 10 sets of 10. Try and tie them to something you do regularly each day, like every time you sit down do a quick set of 10, or if you're driving a lot, everytime you pull up to a traffic light. But most importantly she said never do it while you are on the loo, do it before or after, but never while you're actually weeing. If you stop the flow you could cause some urine to travel backwards up your urethra which can in turn cause infection. So please be careful.

Why do they tell you to empty half your bladder when having a scan then-surely this wouldn't be advised!
