Hi Ladies,

We've reading some of your post maybe I will feel a little bit better.......

So here's my story......

I'm 28 and DH is 34, we've been trying to conceive for the last 1 year. Went to a fertility clinic to do some test for myself and for DH. My results came and everything was fine except for the low egg count, and DH results were veryyy verry low motility and count...he has to repeat the test again and if the results are basically the same, we don't have any option but to go straight for IVF.

My Gyne told me to take metformin 500mg once a day since I have slight pcos, and they regulated my cycle, apart from that I was told to take clomid before we decided to go the fertility clinic...stupid docs

Can anyone suggest something for the low sperm count and motility as we really would like to have naturally without IVF.

Thanks and Good Luck to you all xxxxx

Hiya,

My OH had a good count but low motility. I got him some wellman conception vitamins and they have worked wonders for the motility. Within a few months the motility went from 1st test-18% motility 2nd test-40% and 3rd test-80%. I think its down to the vitamins, nothing else had changed apart from that. Some ladies on here have also said Solgar vm-75 vits are great too. I hope this helps a little xx

Forgot to say, his count did increase too, can't remember by how much but it was a good amount x

My hubby's morphology and motility have done well on the zita west vitamen vitamins. He also takes pycnogenol, 1000 mg vit c with extra zinc and has massively reduced caffeine. It's bought his SA to within normal ranges, count goes up and down but the other number have all gone up at each test x
