Hello Ladies,

I am a cardiac nurse working the night shift and we had a lady 38wks+2 here with dilated heart - she went into labour at 11pm and ive just transfered her to the central delivery suite to have her baby!

I am TTC 2nd cycle so its very exciting seeing someone off to have thier baby just thought id share!! :yay::pompom:

Oh wow, I'd be excited too! I don't think I've seen a real life woman in labour apart from myself obviously! Lmao

Yeah makes me scared!! I'm not even pregnant yet an I'm already shitting myself now lol xx

Id love it if someone went into labour at my work

How exciting!!

MY labour was 36 hours - the excitement soon wore off I can tell you lol

I remember being soooo excited at the begining of my labour, like you say, over 50 hours later I was just pissed off!!

I've been at nearly 20.... including four C-sections.... Definitely one of the things I miss about being Student MW!! But thinking I'm really glad I know what to expect when I get round to having one myself :)

I keep being asked random things about it all by newly pregnant friends, and those who've delivered and want to know what or why certain things happened... Scares me a bit how much they don't seem to get told by their MWs :(
