1st birthday party joined with S Blessing in 4 weeks!! Where's it gone.

So the theme of recent parties instead of bags is like a token favour kind of thing. One party was a lunch box with their lunch in it and they got to keep the box and another was each child got a book. Any ideas along the lines of this? Don't really want to spend more than £3/4 so don't want to fill party bags with crap for the sale of it iykwim.

Thanks!

I must admit I like old fashioned party bags. With a balloon some kind of sweets and say some bubbles/bouncy ball/hair clips/toy car etc and then you can put some cake in too.

You could set up a childrens table at the function room with colouring books and pencils, it will keep them occupied at the party and they can take them home after? You can get personalised colouring books not sure how Much they are though.

I do like the lunch box idea as they have a useful gift after but will you be having some sort of buffet as they wouldn't need a lunch then.

I'm a big fan of traditional party bags too. We did lunch boxes for our eldests last party but also gave party bags at the end with cake, bubbles, a balloon and a small colouring book. They don't have to be expensive - you can usually bulk buy bubbles, balloons etc. A friend just gave the kids a piece of cake in their party bags x

Macie's party is Easter Sunday so I'm doing Easter Themed ones not 100% on what I'm putting in yet tho! Books are a nice idea tho but I like traditional ones too what about a small toy? What's the theme of the day? Xxxx

She's kinda got a doc mcstuffins theme going on for the party bit. Everyone will have a wee cupcake to take away. Just was thinking I would quite like 1 main thing x

Hmm what about something doc mcstuffin? My main thing is going to be an Easter egg what about a sweet tube thing like in a cellophane bag I suppose it's hard as all the kids will be diff ages? Xxxx

The poundshop near me does doc mcstufgins colouring picture/ with 4 coloured pencil sets it's all wrapped up nicely in card outer etc, only £1 too , ive just brought one for a mates 2 yr okd for when i visit her and her new baby. X

Thanks nat :-)

Oooh I'll go check that out Jen. That sounds good. I did think about going to the pound shop and seeing what they had x

I was just nosying on Pinterest and saw some fab party bag ideas, have a look on there!

One idea was a basket of cuddly toy dogs with a sign saying please adopt me. Isn't doc mcstuffins a doctor character and plays with her stuffed toys? Have I got the right programme! Lol. I thought this was a nice idea you could have different animals for each child to choose as they leave. You could also do a little dr set maybe a stethoscope or something? Depends how old the children are.

Thanks! I'll have a wee look at Pinterest, didn't even think of that. And yep right programme!
