Painting baby's nursery.

I am sure i have read somewhere that you have to have your baby's nursery painted and ready 3 months before they are due? Anyone know if this is true?

If it is i have no chance cause my oh is still rewiring all the lights and sockets in our house and a lot of the main wiring for the downstairs lights is based in the floor of the nursery room.

yes that is true you need to paint 3 months before baby arrives

we only finished the nursery about 2 weeks before the little fella made his arrival. he slept with us for first three months so i kept his door shut and had window open so fumes had a chance to clear before he ever slept in there. hope that helps

Yes, but most babies won't go straight in there.

Guidelines say they should be in with you for the first 6 months, which would give you plenty of time!
