Pains have returned

Ive spoken to the midwife today as the pains on my right side have returned, i just want to curl up in a ball and cry but i have to put on a brave face as i cant get any time off work. She has managed to book me a reassurance scan for tommorrow morning at 11am, ive just got my fingers and toes crossed that its really bad growth pains but i didnt think they would be stronger second time around x x

oh sorry to hear about your pains coming back. At least your midwife sounds very good to get you in nice and quick for a scan to check everything's ok.... Feet up and relax as soon as you get in from work tonight. I know my doc said that these pains can come and go throughout the first tri and are sometimes worse on one side but you are so so right to get it checked.. it is worrying isn't it when you feel a pain. I'm sure you will do ... but let us know how you get on tomorrow and take it easy tonight. x xx

Thanks for the nice messages ladies, im just curled up in a ball on the couch wanting the pains to go away. Can i take paracetamol? With my LO i refused to take anything like that, but if it eases the pain ill give it a go this time. Im going to ask my OH to make me a hot water bottle too x x

I just thought id give you a quick update this morning, my pains are still there and they are still as strong but i have been sooo sick this morning, so im hoping that is a good sign but im still so worried, i hope my little bean is ok x x

wishing you the bs for your scan and hope that these pains go away, I too had really bad pains at 9 weeks and my doctor just said to me its totally normal its probably your uterus pressing on your bladder or other organ giving you pain, I saw another doctor a few days later who got me a scan the next day to make sure everything was ok, scan showed everything normal except i had lost a twin I already knew i had 2 sacs but one baby just stopped developing so they said pain was not from that, it was just stretching pains or as doctor said maybe pressing on an organ, also the nurse said maybe it was scar tissue from when i had a laparocsopy but i didn't get pain from that in my last pregnancy. so there are alot of things that can cause you pain.

Still waiting... I had a laparocsopy four years ago MOM and it never caused any pain in my last pregnancy but maybe it could be that this time, the midwife never mentioned that though x x

My bean is fine

I have got a small bleed at the bottom of my uterus, but she said its nothing much to worry about. As for my pains there isnt any problems so the midwife thinks that they are pains from everything moving around inside and growing. She told me just to keep a close eye on things and if they got worse to got back but if they dont get worse just put up with them as it will get better. The sonagrapher was lovely, she even give me a pic for my OH as he couldnt be there, ive took a photo of the pic and attached it x x
