Painful stretchmarks..

Are stretchmarks supose to be painful?
Iv noticed Iv got quite alot on my bum, and proper red ones, and they sometimes hurt and feel really itchy
Is that normal?
I havent got any on my tummy yet, so fingers crossed it stays that way

I've got a couple of old ones on my thighs from when I was in my twenties. When I get too warm or flustered they do sometimes get hot, itchy and a little tender

I'll be honest I can't remember what they felt like when they were new, I haven't got any bumpage ones...... yet

Its normal for them to sometimes be painful hun cover them in oil or lotion and it should help them a bit. Last time my stretchmarks were a bit painful as I stretched so much they started to split! This was only the last few days before labour tho so wasn't too bad xxxx

Hey, it could be where the stretchmarks are fresh and the skin is getting used to being stretched! I find baby oil helps when your skin gets all tight and sore like that, wouldn't be without it now!

Lol don't worry bout the splitting hun I was just really fat last time with well bad water retention
