ovulation! opk experts please :)

so im trying out ovulation sticks for this month but there all negative( i started on cd9)
but i have EWCM and i have the worst back pain in the world ( when im walking im holding my back) and lower abdomen pains - signs of ovulation!
so why is the stupid stick saying neg ? xx

I could never get those sticks to read pos either!
But we just went on a bonking spree the first time and hey presto! We got PG.

I just work out my OV date on the calender... and hope I get it right xD
I just put the stick thing down to timing/sensitivity.

The reason you got one in the evening and not the afternoon is because the hormone builds up during the day and is at its highest in the evening.
