Ovulation after mc

Hi folks, we're still wtt at the moment but mw said I'd ovulate in 3-4 weeks, not sure if she meant from the date I delivered. So I took an opk the day before yesterday and there was a faint second line. I did another just now and the line is stronger but still not quite pos. What do you girls think? I think I had ov pains late last night too, probably about 12 hours ago. Oh and mc was three weeks yesterday.

So sorry for your loss Have you done any HPT's since your mc? As I know hcg can give false positives on opk's. I had lines on my opk's from hcg for 9 weeks post my mmc at 11 weeks. Not sure how long hcg sticks around after a delivery though. xx

Hi kanga, Thanks for replying! I did a hpt maybe about a week after delivery and i couldn't see a line. With christmas I've only done two opks, the one posted here and two days before that was much fainter. I guess I'll just have to wait for af. I don't like no knowing.

It is possible that all the signs point to ovulation, just wait and see if af shows in 2 weeks xx

Hmm, i think af started on Saturday (not like a usual af but don't know what to expect!), 4 weeks after mc about a week after possible ovulation. I think I was always prone to a short luteal phase so this might be right. Onwards and upwards
