Hi Ladies,

If I write my syptoms down please can I have your verdicts.

According to my period calender app I am currently CD53 since MC. I had a natural mc no complications MC, my scan showed everything had returned to normal and had nice thin cervix and no signs of cysts (I was told I had pcos years ago and have mild endo when i had a laparoscopy in 2007 so was really pleased about this, I still get endo pain but its very mild).

ANYWAY...here is a brief summary of symtoms since aug:
* Tugging OV pain end of sept
* 5th Oct had a speck of blood in CM which was also quite clear and fluid so thought I had OVd then
* OV pain last week and back ache
* No current pains/symptoms
* BFN on HPTs

I have just started up OPKs again though I said to myself I wouldnt. Here is the photo of the last three days, you can clearly see the line getting darker, would you expect it to be even darker before you OV?

Thanks!x

Hi sunbeam,

Ah thanks ladies!

Leesey-I can see the difference in your lines, I think I would have thought nothing if mine but the gradual darkness is an indicator. But as for cd days I have nothing to go on.

Thanks Kanga, I will certainly be grabbing him before bedtime this evening! ;) xx

Hi Sunbeam

Sorry this question isn't about your OPKs but your endometriosis. I recently discovered that I had endometriosis between my bladder and uterus and had a operation 2 months ago to remove it. I just wondered, how soon after you had your operation did the pains start coming back again? I have been off the pill for a month now due to ttc and the last 2-3 weeks I have been experiencing a lot of pain which feels very similar to the endometriosis pain I was getting before the operation. I have a follow-up appointment on Thursday but thought it would be nice to speak to someone who has also had the same. They say endometriosis isn't curable and can return depsite operations, is there a way they keep an eye out to see if it has returned? Sorry for bombarding you with questions.

Thanks
Emma

Hi :)

Endo can be a menace! The pain after lap came back about 6months later but not as bad as it was before i often get flare ups especially confusing my endo pains with ov pains. As I'm not on the pill I take memfamic acid for the pain but as I'm ttc just take paracetamol. I get flare ups quite often, childbirth can cure it.

I go on the endometriosis.org website from time to time, their forum is really good especially for those that are either waiting for their laps or have just had them. Your endo sounds like it was more severe than mine but after laps people conceive quite quickly. My doc said that endo shouldn't affect ttc unless severe but it can add on to the time it takes ttc. I'm sorry to hear your pain has returned, hopefully you won't need another lap. There have been cases where if you take fertility treatments like chlomid that can make it worse or pg but if you have recently had a lap you should be ok. Docs won't keep an eye on it unless you are ttc or in agony. I had to wait for a while of ttc before they would run more tests.

I also tried the endo diet which has really helped, I don't always stick to it but it has definately made a difference because my pain is far less than the crippling ones before. It hasnt prevented me concieving but I get agonising pains after orgasms.

IBS is also associated with it so def look at the forum, good luck xx
