Noas skin is falling of him, hes like a little snake changin skin! the mw said its cuz he was overdue and we rub olivoil all over him few times a day as adviced.

i would like to know if any other mum that was overdue had this and how long does it take for the skin to get nice?

Charley was early but has skin like that! We got told to rub olive oil on him and to stop using stuff in his bath x x

my son was 15 days late... and had nothing like that ?? but if midwife says its normal im sure its nothing to worry about and he'll stop shedding soon :D x

Yes, poppy was like that, especially her feet and she was also 15/16 days overdue x

tegan was 4 days late and her feet were like that we have been putting baby oil on them and there alot better now shes 10 days old x

noa is from head to toe! Tummy armpits hands and feets are worst..

All my babies peeled and Lucas was 9 days early  took a couple of weeks for all the flakes to come off and for the skin to become smooth. It's totally normal chick xx

Paige was 15 days late but didnt have this. She has had flakey skin later on though and baby oil worked wonders.

Grace was 8 days late and was the same. She then got a newborn rash and her skin didn't look lovely and clear until she was about 3/4 weeks old. I thought there was something wrong! Midwifes assured me her skin would get better and we just used olive oil too.

Liv had this really bad I used to sit and pick it off her  I just scrubbed her all over when she was in the bath x

Ross had the same on his feet and he was 11 days over. Apparently I was 14 days late and very peely when I was born. Just a bit 'overcooked' :)

Morgan was born 9 days over and he had this. It got to the stage where if you brushed your finger over the skin gently it would come off. It took a few weeks to get sorted and we did nothing to it, he has perfect skin now. It tends to get dry after a hair wash, but not so bad if I rinse it really well.

I slather them in Weleda baby calendula lotion. It's lush and works wonders x

Its weird cos Charlie was born on his due date and the midwife commented that his peeling skin was as though he was overdue! I knew his due date was spot on from ovulation and last AF so definately not overdue.

My brothers LO was 2 weeks 2 days over and he's same same, he's 17 days old and is still has it, it has improved but still there, they're using the olive oil on him.. Hope it clears up for little Noa soon xxx

Toby was 2 weeks late and was peeling all over for a couple of weeks after he was born! We just kept putting olive oil on him and it did get better quite quickly - as soon as an area of skin had all peeled it stayed soft and didn't dry out again x
