Did any of you have anything in the home ready for when your baby came and if so what was useful? I just want to be well prepared but is this stuff needed or is it best to wait and see?

I had bits and bobs in as I have AJ, but you cant use any medications before baby is 3 months except infacol/gripe water anyway.
I did actually buy a bottle of infacol which did come in handy. x

Thanks, that's what I was wondering. I think I will get some infacol x

You can use calpol from 2 months if they have a temp from their jabs.

Gripe water can only be used after a month.

I've also bought a baby nasal saline spray (calpol do one) cos my little fella had a stuff nose with the cold. It's suitable from birth.

Calpol is literally a god send, I always have some to hand. I also went to a paediatric first aid course which I found excellent. I already had some first aid training and I just wanted to be safe. A little over board maybe but I wanted "belt and braces" and I felt I never could be too safe. x
