How safe do you think orgasms are in early pregnancy?xxx

As long as you dont have history of miscarraiges they are fine, and lets face it whats the point in having sex if you dont have an orgasm.

I never tried sex or used any toys in first tri but once i got to 15 weeks i used to use my vibrator quite abit and after an orgasm my bump used to really hurt but i googled and they said it's very common as long as the pain doesn't last longer than a hour or you don't bleed! My bump doesn't hurt after now and it's very good for baby to have orgasms!! So enjoy

infact I should add I have had 5 miscarraiges all together and I have not been told not to have sex or orgasms,my doctor said if you going to miscarry nothing you do can change it visa versa I just heard other people being advised not to have sex when they have had them, Ihave had sex and orgasms this pregnancy and everything been fine

Thanks nice to hear your opinions on it, its quite scary when your early ...i don't know when im going to have sex for the first time since i found out it feels scary lol xxx

Oh dear - I didnt even have a thought that it cud be harmful - oh well, bit late now mind, but ive got this far, whatever makes you more relaxed is good in my opinion, lol!

i actually found them painful in the first tri, sex wasnt comfy either, but all back to normal now x

ive only had the 1 orgasm as both me and my OH have gone off sex but it did hurt around my tummy a bit and has scared me into not having another for a while! x

The first time I had spotting was just after an orgasm using my vibrator, and it was painful too. Then the other two times I had spotting was after naughty dreams (I think I orgasmed in my sleep, that's never happened before lol) so I'm abstaining at least till after the first tri. Although my sex drive seems to be really high!!!! Haha!

I must admit when I was around 5 weeks I had full on sex, I know I shouldnt of have but I couldnt help it and nothing happened. Had a couple since and nothing happened. No blood or anything. My dr never advised me not to have sex or anything and if you miscarry sadly you just miscarry. theres nothing you can do. I cant bring myself to have sex at the moment. I feel like theres nothing worse!

I never did have one that way until years of being married, it just sort of happened and now it's regular, lol. I always was fine about sex before that, too, it's not a problem for me whether I O at all, or only through foreplay.

I've never experienced spotting because of sex, but later on in pregnancy O's did often bring on some uncomfortable contractions..ouch!

your doctor or midwife should have informed you that sex/orgasms cannot cause you to miscarry (unless there is something wrong with your cervix).

sex was an everyday thing (2 times a nite) and baby was fine n dandy. an orgasm actually increases the blood flow to the baba. just be mind full of deep penetration positions as they can be real uncomfortable or painful. as ur uterus gets bigger n u orgasm, u will feel ur uterus tense up.....try not to worry.

as long as there are no major cramps with bleeding ur fine........u will get ligament stretchy pains too.

thank you thats some great advice, i havent been midwife im going to go doctors next week as my tests have just got dark xxx
