OPK's up and down......please help

So I took an OPK on CD10 and it looked very nearly positive but not quite. CD11 barely anything there at all and there hasn't been since. Now I'm CD17 and did this at 10am after a 4 hour urine hold. Any advice would be great as I just don't know what's happening?

Granted that does look nearly positive... but I wouldn't say quite yet. Make sure you keep testing.
Someone your body gears up to ovulate and you get nearly positives, which die down. And then your body tries again at a later stage.
Did you have any other signs like EWCM?
I don't really get any ovulation symptoms so I temp every morning, for me this is the only way to absolutely confirm ovulation.

I haven't had any EWCM yet but I have realised with using these OPK's later (not sure what made me but I'm glad I did) that quite possibly the discomfort I feel during my cycle days 16-20 might be ovulation pain? I never thought of it before because I assumed I ovulated earlier so never made the association. I've read that some women have discomfort at ovulation and some don't.


OH surprised me this morning and came home.early from working away and we but he was too too tired to finish **tmi*** so a bit disappointed

That's definitely positive If you can BD later, after OH has had a rest, I'd say you are in with a good chance this month xx

He's back to work later but is off tomorrow. I'll try my best for later lol and tomorrow he has no choice hahaa!!

So he's gone back to work he's so tired and stressed with work he kissed me and said he just didn't think he could do it again today. I told him it didn't matter I don't want it to turn into something he doesn't enjoy. He's so amazing and life goes on in other ways doesn't it.

Opk was negative at 1pm

Maybe we are out this month x

We are going to have dinner together tomorrow evening and watch a film and he's promised we'll dtd so there might be a little chance? I'm just going to have to wait and see that's all we ever do in this game hey (I should have more patience because of it but I dont hahaa)

Yeah, you could absolutely still be in with a chance. A couple of months back I had my positive opk the one day, my temperature rose the next day and on the scan the following evening I hadn't ovuated yet! Good luck xx

Can I ask your advice hun? Do you think I should still expect AF on CD 28?

Do you know how long your leutal phase is normally? On average it's about 14 days, so from your positive opk on day 17 you can expect to have ovulated that day or the following day, so can probably expect your af a bit later on day 31 / 32 xx

It does look nearly positive. Watch your natural body signs too. It can be a big help when pin pointing ovulation.
