This is my first month using opk's started on cd8 got faint lines until cd14 when igot my surge. How long does your surge usually last im on cd17 and its still dark.

What day do you count as ov the first day of surge or the last??

Hey hun, they surge can last up to 3 days.

you count the day after you first got your surge as OV day then the day after 1dpo.

You should have OV 12-36 hours after surge if FIRST detected.
