Opk newbie.

Hi ladies.
I'm wondering if and opk users could help me. I've just started using them this cycle and last night I took one and it was so faint a barely even saw it. I took another at 12 ish today and it was a bit darker than the previous one. I've just took one now and it's even darker again. Since I'm new I don't know if this means I'm going to ovulate soon.

Hi proud mama, sounds like it could be anytime soon if the sticks are getting progressively darker. The test line has to be as dark as the control line or darker. Sounds promising, good luck x

Yes I would, just to be on safe side. Opk's can be a bit hit or miss. Whereabouts are you in your cycle? I posted my progress with opk's in a previous thread check them out for comparison. If I ovulated Thursday 12th then I'm 6 dpo. Last month I had an irregular period which has thrown things out a bit for me. Get bd'ing, enjoy and keep us posted. X

I'm cycle day 15 Hun. My app predicted I ovulate today, but I know that's just "predicted" and I know the opks are better to tell when I ovulate. So maybe I will get a darkest line tomorrow then? X

I think you will. It sounds like you are in your fertile window.

Hopefully. We did on the 9th,11th and 16th so I'm covering all angles haha. I'm guessing tonight, tomorrow and Friday will be ok won't it? X
