opk as a preg test?

Just used a spare one I had & got a +. Def not ovulating on day 29...... Do they work as a pt as some people say?

Can do but u can also get another surge at the end of the cycle is it darker than control line ?

The problem with using an opk as a hpt is this: a positive opk can tell you three different things
1. You are ovulating
2. You might be pg
3. It's picking up a type of hormone, but not necessarily the hcg you are looking for

It's tempting, I know cause I am a poas addict myself and recently tried. So now I don't know if I am pg or ovulating soon. Best thing to do is get an hpt.

I got 3 days of positive OPK's but negative pregnancy tests a couple of days before my period two cycles ago. Some people get a lh surge before AF.

Hopefully it's a good sign for you, I convinced myself I was pregnant and was devastated when the witch arrived xxx

Dont do it. I did was late for af. Positive opk. Witch got me next day. Use a pteg test for pregnancy and an opk for ovulation! X
