One week left?

Well by my calculations I'll be in Tri 2 next week. I can't believe it's come around so quick but my scan is on Wednesday morning so I could be put back.

So I hope you'll be thinking of me at 9:15 on Wednesday morning when I get to see Bean. Fingers crossed he'll look a bit different from the Mr Potato Head scan I had 6 weeks ago!

Yayyy you and me (possibly) both! But I'm not due to have my scan til 13 + 2 so I'll probably hang around until I know my dates.

whoop! Me too I am so excited, this is no offence to any of you lovely ladies here but I will be so glad to say goodbye to being in first tri (I dont mean on the forum )

Just I will feel 100 % better when I have gone past that point and I can't wait!

I can't believe there are only 3 sleeps to go until I get to see Bean again. We've been gutting the study and ditching anything techie that DH and I cannot fit anywhere else this weekend in between me having mini-breakdowns!

My scan is on Friday when I'll be 13 weeks - I'll be joining you in Tri2 then too. I also saw baby at 7w6 but can't wait until Fri to see Tidge again.

I'm losing my office for a nursery too - I'll be moved to a small desk space in the lounge where they'll be even more pressure to keep the desk etc tidy (I work in chaos usually). I'm a bit sad about it at the moment but can't wait to turn it into a nursery nearer the time. We're a bit short on cash so I think it'll just be a case of painting one wall in pale green (we won't be finding out the sex before birth!)

OMG OMG OMG my scan is tomorrow

I can't believe I'm going to get to see Bean again after 6 weeks. It also means I can stop wearing my oversized and very warm cardigan which is hiding a "who ate all the mice pies" belly and not come up with weird and wonderful reasons as to why I quit smoking!

I will also be able to tell my colleagues who have been giving me grief for months about getting training in the Dublin office (3 days a week away from home in a hotel) and going on 24/7 on-call. I mentioned this to the boss today and he said that after tomorrow it will be obvious to them as to why I won't be getting the training or going on-call.

Oh and we spent a small fortune on furniture yesterday. Bought a desk for £19 in Ikea to put behind living room door for PC. Got a massive storage unit from Ikea for just over £100 which now houses the TV and makes the room look massive. We're about to move the settees around to see if we can make better use of the space seeing how our study now has to be condensed into the attic, our room, living room and the skip! Money well spent but now comes the big stuff like nursery furniture and everything else that goes along with a bubba.
