I think that this is probably not pregnancy related, but are any of you jumbletowners?

I am registered with a site called jumbletown.ie - I presume there is one for the UK as well.

It works on the principle that if you have it and don't need it, someone somewhere will want it and take it off your hands. FREE!

I warn you, it's addictive. I give items away that I don't need too, but about 6 months ago I got a free piano from someone down the country that didn't want one - and today I picked up a buggy/car seat/foot muff/ rain cover from a lady in Cork - she used it for her three little boys but it's pristine, you should see it! It's saved me literally about €300 - €400 because that's what a new buggy costs here on average.

Ok, not strictly pregnancy related but I saw some people talking about new buggies on here and thought I'd give you a heads up.

Sue

I think jumbletown is just Ireland from what I can tell, but there's a similar thing called freecycle which exists in quite a few countries worldwide - uk site is www.uk.freecycle.org/

I've been hunting on Freecycle more now i'm heading to 12 weeks lol.
xx

My mum told me about it ages ago as we are very keen on recycling and not throwing stuff away and firm believers that one man's junk is another's treasure and all that. But I hadn't got round to joining and forgot about it till this post, so thanks v much Sue! Hoepfully I might be able to pick up some stuff from there - I'm not proud lol!

I use freecycle, its really good! I have had a cot, 2 moses baskets and 2 t.v's for free!!!
