OMG PISSD OFF!

Sorry ladies but im sooo bloody mad. as soon as i found out i was pregnant i stopped smoking and today a couple who are my dads mates came to the house and just started smoking in the living room knowing i was pregnant. They just seemed to look at me, think to therselfs 'should i' and then just lit it up. then his wife saw that he was smoking and must of thought that it was alright for her to light one up aswell! I just stormed upstairs because when i get mad i cant help but bursting out into tears even though im angry not upset! I mean what gives them the right to come to the house and poison my baby with smoke, if i wasn't bothered about this happening i wouldn't have stopped smoking myself, i mean do they have no respect! its not like they visited for long i'm sure they could of gone half a bloody hour without a fag or at least stood outside! and the living room now smells of smoke

same here and i used to smoke, i think it stinks.
i would have told them to put it out and sent them outside.

OMG that is rude, my mum asked me if she could have a fag in my car yesterday (i let them smoke in it for a while after i quit) im in the process of selling it and im 7 months pregnant, i was just like HELL NO. Even when i was smoking i didnt smoke in the house cos OH didnt smoke so was unfair on him!!

I would of sent your guests to the door and said sorry we dont smoke anymore!!

Try not to let it get to you too much, just remember next time someone must say something,

Thats so rude. You should get some no smoking signs. Smoking is not allowed in my house at all. My Dad smokes in my Moms house when shes not there and thinks its ok to sit next to me and light up so I shout at him. It makes everything smell so vile. I got some gifts from him and his gf and they stink of smoke.

some people are so rude well done on giving up smoking while pregnant . next time if it happens tell them not to hun they really should have asked you if it was alright
And your compleatly right they should have been able to last half an hour with out a ciggarette. I mean its not long to hold out

im having smoking issues too, my MIL smokes in front of me,
we let her smoke in the kitchen and everytime she visits she has one in our kitchen and i cant tell her not too so I hover by the door and open the back door and window.
When baby comes along she is outside and we have made this clear but all during my pregnancy I have found it too hard to tell her to go outside as she would say it is just one and is quick etc...
will you be able to say something next time ?

i'll of probably had him by the time they come again, if not i'll definatley say something...even if it means me getting a little hysterical just because he's not born yet doesn't mean the smoke doesn't get into his lungs. i mean they wouldn't do it if he was in his moses basket in the living room! well i should bloody hope they wouldn't anyways!!!

i sympathise.I stopped smoking first time i was pregnant and never started since but it took me 3 years to convince everyone else not to smoke in my house.Even my OH stands outside.its your home hun and you have the right to choose what goes on in it and people shold respect yor views
