OMG I'm so excited Smiley Face on My OV TEST

Hi Peeps,

I'm so excited I could burst... Have been convinced I'm not Ovulating because I have quite a long cycle, anyway after tears on Monday & getting in a bit of a state, biting my mum & dads head off & husbands also..

I perservered with my Clear blue ovulation sticks, woke up to a flashing smiley face, tuesday, wednesday, thursday & today & get a solid smiley

We did the dees on Monday Night & lets put it this way, it looks like a busy weekend ahead.. fingers crossed for baby dust.

Just for info if u dont catch this cycle they say the most important times to dtd are when u get flashing smileys and then again on day u get solid smiley.
This is cos sperm live around 5 days and it is better for them to already in place waiting for when the egg is released. The egg only survives for around 12hrs once released so its harder to catch it at the right time if sperm are not already in there.
Also once u get flashing smileys i would test twice a day as technically if u got flashing yesterday am u could have got a solid had u tested yesterday pm meaning the egg may have already been released as u should ov 12-36 hrs after getting solid smiley!
