OMG! I'm going to be a dad!

Congrats! I echo all that has been said before. PF is a great place and you'll find everyone really supportive.

Just to pick up on a point raised earlier, just make sure the bath isn't too hot, current NHS advice is that hot baths can be harmful as the baby can't regulate their own body temperature. So keep it cooler than usual.

Wishing you both a happy and healthy mine months.

Hiya  the best piece of advice I ever read for dads to be, which had always stuck in my mind, is to clean the toilet regularly, cos there's nothing worse mid Morning sickness than a dirty toilet!

hello. Welcome to PF and congratulations to you both! It's all very exciting and terrifying.

I don't have much to add except to say that if she is fit and feeling well, to keep active throughout pregnancy - walking, swimming, yoga etc. are all good things. I know a girl who is still running miles every week at 30 weeks pregnant, but TBF she is super-fit. There's little benefit to sitting around on your arse unless you're unwell. All of these things will help make childbirth easier. But if she's not well, then she mustn't beat herself up over it. Make sure you look after her, and be patient. Sometimes the weepiness is nothing to do with anything in particular! Enjoy the ride.

Congratulations to you both. So nice to see you thinking of your OH needs already.

The tiredness can be crippling in the first trimester so allow her to rest as much as she wants. She'll probably really appreciate you doing the housework and cooking for a while. You may find that even the smallest of things irritate her, try just let it go over your head and don't retaliate, it's not her fault her hormones will be all over the place :)

If you have any questions just ask, lots of ladies on here who will be more than happy to help :)
