Baths - I have a roasting hot bath (would obviously not if Cay was in with me), and a very full bath. So how does that work, do I just sit in an inch of water? Or what? How does Cay get a wash if I've gotta hold him up in a foot-deep tub?

When I have a bath with Aaron I have a full bath and just have it a little colder. What I tend to do is go have my roasty toasty bath, then as I'm getting near the end I chuck a load of cold water in and bring it down to baby temperature then hubby brings in Aaron.

He tends to just lay on my chest and he's fine.

Hubby comes and takes him out when he's done.

He's only fed yesterday morning and this morning .. He's refused the boob at all other feeds.

It's a difficult week cos he's got a lot of hospital appointments but ill keep offering to see if he takes it.

He's a bit upset after his blood test this morning poor wee sausage

Think I new to try a different approach.

I tried feeding him in the bath tonight but it was a nightmare, he was trying but was slipping everywhere and kept along off

Aaron has never been a hungry feeder ... I.e he rarely gets so hungry he cries

I've been offering the boob before each feed but the second I put him in position he starts screaming till I give him the bottle.

I can't figure out if he hates that position or is just hungry? I'm going to try offering te boob midway between feeds

Idk does anyone have any suggestions? I've only managed to get him to latch in the morning so far ... Which is technically wen e should be most hungry

C did this.... I think he associated cross cradle with frustration so I started trying laid back nursing which worked really well for us.

Sat with top and bra off, let him just chill out on my chest and position him so he was near my nipple. Hd just latched on without any intervention from me.

KK they call that biological position here and I'd suggest trying that too tweety. He might find being mire upright mire useful. Have you spoken to a bf consultant yet? You should be able to access one through the hv x

I'm going to a group tomorrow the lady that runs it runs the baby massage class I go to so she knows me and Aaron.

I've spoken to someone on the phone too but it's not the same ... I need a person.

It's positioning i struggle with

I tried biological nursing last night but it didn't really work ... Determined to get there with it I just need to find a position that works

I've done some research and apparently the "dancer" pose works well for babies with DS but I can't figure it out
