That's brilliant!

Once he gets the hang of feeding from you, then position may not be such an issue. Its as if he's a newborn and learning bf from scratch. When Cam was learning we tried all sorts of positions but once he'd got the hang of latching I didn't need to worry quite so much. Just kinda stuck him with his face near my nipple, he'd feed away and I woukd just sit back and let him get on with it.

I really hope the bf group can help and you are doing so well already!

I woke up at 6 this morning because I was excited about feeding him

I had to wait till 7:15 for him to wake up

He did good ... Fed for about 20-25mins (on/off) and then only took a 2oz top up

Well I went to the bfing group and I'm literally skipping. Not only did he latch on, he only had a full blooming feed! I didn't need the bottle I took with me. It turns out there was only one other mum there who has been expressing for 10 months ... With I had the courage to go to the group sooner!

I think this is the best I've ever felt ... Ever!

I'm lying on my side and he's sort of half lying on his side/half on his tummy next to me - he got into that position himself

He's so wriggly now its really difficult!
