Hi

Im 37 pregnant with my 3rd child after a 15 year gap. I would love to hear from older mums and share experiences of how your finding your pregnancy whether this is your 1st or not.

xx

Hi,

I'm 36 and pregnant with my 4th, I have a 17, 15 and 11 year old (all boys) this pregnancy has been pretty good, didn't have any where near as much sickness with this one but I do get a lot more aches but I read that the more you have the more aches you get :)

Hi, I'm 37 and 9 weeks PG for the first time. Feel sick as a dog I'm really hoping that it passes sometime soon. Excited and nervous. I can't wait to get past Tri1.

I'm 35 this is my second baby, my first is 14 now so massive age gap lol! Going from being a young mum with her to old mum with this one! It scares me that I will be 50 when this baby is my daughters age! Must admit I'm finding pregnancy much easier and feel a lot happier this time round, don't feel like I'm missing out and worrying about my figure as much as it was already ruined 14 years ago! Do worry about babys health a lot more though and was paranoid about mc in tri 1.

Hey there, I'm approaching 34 and this is my 2nd pregnancy after a massive 14yr age gap. I was 19 the 1st time when I gave birth to my DS and apart from really bad sickness that I was hospitalised for, it was a dream compared to this one tbh.

Whilst my sickness wasn't as bad this time around, the aches, pains and worry have been awful tbh. Such a buzz kill eh  I just can't get adjusted to the fact that I'm slower at things and tired all the time. With my 1st pregnancy, after the awful sickness, I was walking all over the show, taking stairs two at a time, teeny tiny bump and felt fantastic! This pregnancy, well I'm lucky if I get a handful of days within a month were I feel decent

But on a brighter note...its all worth it in the end ;) x

Glad to hear there are a few of us with big age gaps, mine is 15 years i have son of 16 and daughter of 15, 3 step kids aged 20, 17 and 14, they dont live with us though,

ive been really sick with this one which i was with my daughter so im thinking this could be a girl, i find out on the 4th july.

im more worried this time as ive had cervical cancer and am at risk of mc and prem labour, ive also got negative blood which i had to go to hospital for a few times over the last pregnancies.

just started to feel baby move so am getting more excited by the day.

Must admit it's nice having an older child around, my daughter has become more considerate and helps round the house more than she used too, plus I'm looking fwd to having a live in baby sitter lol! Think she's as excited as we are, she's been an only child for so long!

ah im looking forward to the live in baby sitter my 16 year old son loves babies and cant wait. just hope he dosent get any ideas with his girlfriend!!

Oh could you imagine becoming a mum and nan at the same time, far too scary!

Hi all.
I too am almost 34. My children are 11 and 14.
I dont remember the previous pregnancies well but sure I didn't feel this awful. Maybe its was youth or ignorance.
I know choosing to start again woz a massive decision ... After all i'd almost got my freedom back. Lol
Older and wiser this time and with a loving partner too I am nervous but happy and looking forward to the whole experience.

Hi all, I'm nearly 34 and on my 3rd with a 9 year age gap. I too am finding this one a struggle. I am so tired recently, my body aches, I find it difficult to be on my feet for too long, which is hard as my job involves a lot of standing and running around. I am really worried that I am not going to cope with all this later on in the pregnancy. Having said all that I am loving being pregnant again and looking forward to having a lovely new baby in the family.

Another OAP here :)
I'm 37 and pregnant with my second. We have a little boy who'll be 3 in November so I'm going to be busy for the next few years!!!
Have been fine with this pregnancy - so far have found it easier than the first (fingers crossed it stays that way!!)
I'm RhNeg too Suzzi, thankfully had no issues first time round and things are OK so far too.

We're dairy farmers so I'm a lot more active with this pregnancy than I was with my first - I was working for an investment firm in the City, so the only excercise I got was walking to and from the Tube :)

There's quite a few of us 30+ mums here - nice to know!

It is good to know there are quite a few of us a bit older, it worried me a bit at first as I only have one friend my age with a baby, everyone else is either much younger than me or older and their kids are now teenagers!

Just think of all the life experience we'll be able to bring to the table - you can't buy that kind of knowledge anywhere - it's definitely going to stand to us!!!

Ooh I might be the oldest one here. I'm 38 and this is our first (and probably only) child. We are super excited, as are the respective grandparents-to-be. I had a fair bit of nausea in Tri 1 but otherwise feel great. We have our 20 week scan on Monday. Can't wait! Let the shopping begin!!

Hi all im 32 expecting my 3rd my eldest is 12 in nov and youngest is 7 in dec so been a while plus im working now so very tired!

Dont think this will be easy the eldest is hormonal and the youngest should be re named Damien!

believe me teen girl hormones and pregnancy hormones don't mix! I'm always arguing with my 14 year old, esp when she's got pmt :wall2: one of us ends up crying or storming off and it's not always her lol! Kind of dreading the school holidays! Think she might be visiting her gran regularly!

well im suffering with a water infection at the moment :( got 5 days of antibiotic and feel like S**t.

Im enjoying this pregnancy apart from the above, although feel more scared than i did with the other 2, maybe its my age lol just started feeling baby move which is lovely and i have my 20 week scan on 4th july x x

when we were at hospital we thought there would be loads of young mums-to-be there but actually there were lots of women around my age.
