Hi girls!

I dont know what happened to Daniel lately! From about 7 weeks he was sleeping from 6.30pm, sometimes had milk at 11pm(very raley), then at 3am and then woke up for the day at 7am. No waking up for dummies and etc.

Now, for the last 2 weeks: Bed at 6.30, but, before 11pm feed (and now he def wants it) he wakes up like 6 times for the dummy, then after 11pm feed he wakes up anither couple of times for the dummy, the, after 3am feed, if it is a good night sleeps till 5, then just lies there awake till 6.30 wanting dummy, if its a bad night-wakes up as soon as dummy is out (depending on dummy from 1 min till 15). Then, evetually at 6.30am his daddy takes him in bed with him and I go to the other room to have a couple of hours sleep. And then they sleep (well, Daniel sleeps) till about 8am.

Any sucsessful ideas how to make him sleep if not through, but at least to the previous pattern?
We started on solids (but not too much, just half a pot or rarely a pot of puree per day (small Baby Plum one).
He is teething, but, he was teething like from 2 and a half months and we had no problems.
During the day he sleeps twice, in the morning and in the evening anywhere between 30 mins and hour.

Please please help! Otherwise I will just collapse

ok, 31 viewings and just one reply from newmum :( guys, anyone?anything?

yes melissa stopped sleepin thru at 4 months. shes 8 months now and we still not found the solution
i think its fairly common at that age. sorry i cant help u tho

controlled crying works for some people i personally hated it so dont do it any more (might be why melissa's still not sleepin thru lol!)

just looking at those old threads myself, and thought id better add- in our case it wasnt teething or weaning- she's on 3 big meals a day now and still wakes up- shes still no teeth so it cant have been that! wish i knew what it was! :wall: lol

I am not sure if my experience is going to help you at all, but here it goes!

As I wrote a couple of days ago, I've going through a similar thing with my little smurf. Out of desparation (and because she was a bit constipated) I stopped giving her solids for a while. She started sleeping better again (going to bed at 7pm, wake up once at 3 or 4am and usually sleeps until 6.30-7am). And she isn't constipated anymore! Hurray! I will see my HV next week and will talk to her about introducing solids again but I am now concerned that they'll cause trouble again!
Anyway, today she is very, very miserable (I think she is teething) so I expect yet another difficult night :?

Thank you guys for replying. Daniel isnt constipated and actually when I dont give him solids he wakes up in the night even more.

So I guess it is just a stage. Hopefully will go away soon
