Hi Karen - Ive had lots of what I would call mild contractions, they are way past BH's now. Im just waiting for them to gather momentum really, could be a few days perhaps. Im going to phone the hospital tomorrow and speak to the ward where my consultant works and ask if I can come down tomorrow or Tuesday for a sweep. I really don't want them to call me in for a section and my community MW wont do another sweep; something to do with my Strep B although I think she is a bit cautious because every time Ive seen her the baby's head wasnt down far enough!

Hey hon, glad things seem to be moving and hope consultant will give u a sweep. Got eveything crossed for that VBAC for u hon - I know how important it is for u. Thinking of u lots xxxx

and the newspaper ..... tee hee , glad he can rest while your in labour

Gawd I read the title of that thread and thought "uh oh" it's lovely that he's getting enthusiastic now and love it that he thinks HE'S gonna be the one needing pain killers hope this is it for you now rm xx

I hope so too, I think Im on the home straight - sometime between now and Thursday I will be rocking that little baby. I decided against my better judgement to ask for a sweep at the hospital, at least then they can see that Im willing to meet them half way as according to them I am overdue right now! Of course Im completely not according to my dates so I wont be giving in
