off to see GP

I'm going to have a chat with my GP this afternoon about me and my DH ttc. We've been trying since last Feb but it's only been the last 2 months that i've been charting and getting to know when's the best time etc.

I want her to refer us so we can get our fertility checked out. It would be good to know where we stand and if it's just a case of being patient and it'll happen eventually or if either of us has a problem that we were unaware of. I hope she'll do that for us.

Good luck hun........If I was you I would tell a small lie and explain you have been TTC for a year now! It seems anything under a year and they send you away and tell you to come back at a later date.

Well, my GP was very helpful. Told her all that was going on and she says she reckons I do ovulate as my periods are fairly regular and the kits have come up positive.

I'm going off for a blood test tomorrow to check my OV, my DH has to go see her and give a sample then if all comes back ok she'll refer us on to the fertility clinic for a laparoscopy. Then we can figure out exactly what's going on and if anything's wrong or if it'll just take a while.

Sorry, I meant to write we've been trying a year last feb as that's when I had my implant out.
