9 weeks for me today! I agree the past few weeks have flown by! X

How’s everyone doing? Nervous as my first scan is next Wednesday. Hoping it all goes well!

I had a phone call just asking if I can go in at 11am tomorrow for a scan! They have me down as 14weeks cuz of my LMP but in reality I should be 6wks1day, does anyone know if I will have to have a transvaginal scan to see anything?

They will probably give it a go abdominally first but I'd imagine they will need transvaginal to get clear images! Dont worry they're not too bad x

I had transvaginal last time I had a MMC to triple check there was no heart beat

I prefer just pretending the pregnancy isn't happening, makes it all less scary lol, tomorrow is going to make it very real

If you think you’re only 6 weeks then I’m sure you will have a transvaginal scan. I guess then they will attempt to date the pregnancy and then book you in for another scan at a later date.

Yeah the midwife has already told me they will rebook me in for my 13 week scan, I'm meant to have an 8 week scan too so I wonder if I will still get one of those? Guess I'll find out tomorrow lol

I understand. I'm slightly different, I went for a private early scan and they did transvaginal. I saw my babys heartbeat but at our 12 week scan it had stopped around the time of that first scan. That's why this time we haven't bothered with an early scan. I'm sure everything will be perfect and you'll get a good accurate date x

Feeling sick tonight! Booking in app tomorrow. My stomach is also massive at the moment, I know it's probably just bloat but it's a weird shape!

Everything went fab! Babies measuring 5+3 but saw the heartbeat, which she said was nice and strong! She also said you don't usually see that until 6-7 weeks so I'm anywhere between 5+3 and 7 weeks lol, they're booking me back in for another scan in the next couple of weeks so should know more then, thanks ladies! I have never been as scared as I was this morning and now I'm walking on cloud 9 lol

That's amazing dinky! So so pleased for you. And so good that it was done abdominally!

My booking in went fine, classed as low risk. Just waiting for my scan appointment to come through the post now!

I still don’t have any symptoms. Like literally not a single one. I’m beginning to wonder if I am actually pregnant...

I didn’t get any symptoms at all with my ds and actually apologised to the lady who did my 12 week scan as I was sure I was wasting her time! It can be totally normal

I’m pretty sure it will be transvaginal but it’s not as bad as it sounds!
