I had my booking in today and midwife told me to book in for my flu jab, she couldn't find my veins as per cuz they're rubbish so I need to go ante natal clinic at the hospital tomorrow to get my bloods done lol. My EDD is 1st September atm which defo isn't right she thinks I will have a scan in the next week or so and that will give me a more accurate EDD.

Definitely feeling very irritable and my OH is noticing it. Feel a bit bad for him but little things are annoying me. And he keeps trying to cuddle me in bed and I just want to go to sleep. This morning I woke up drenched in sweat and he was trying to cuddle me and I said “no no I’m too hot”

still, over 8 weeks so feels like a bit of a milestone as it’s halfway between finding out and the scan.

If you get the flu shot your baby gets protected for 6mo after birth too so it's definitely worth getting

8 weeks tomorrow going off lmp. Still think I'll be a few days behind that due to later than usual ovulation. Still got very little appetite, trying to eat as much as possible, but feel like the life and energy has been sucked out of me! Still have slightly tender boobs, starting to see blue veins appearing too. But they haven't got any bigger which is disappointing! Lol. Lastly, still sometimes getting a dark tinge to my cm. Hoping its nothing to be concerned about, maybe I should mention it to my midwife next week.

Following on from that last post.. I just went to the loo (number 2) and I had a huge blob of cm which had a streak of blood in it. I'm trying not to panic.. not currently having any bad cramps. I have been having niggles for the last week and a half or so, very low down, and I also get cramps with my bowels. Hopefully there is no more

Honestly don’t panic, if it’s only a small amount then it’s probably nothing to worry about. Just keep an eye on it. Cramps etc are all normal!

Thank you for replying, yeah it was like snotty cm, with a little red streak in it. Feel like I'm gonna be backwards and forwards from the loo all night now! I hate this, I'm trying so hard to stay positive, I talk to my baby every day. It's just so hard when you feel like you're in limbo!

Try not to worry! If it's only a tiny bit it really won't be anything to worry about. Was it red or dark brown? x

It was a really small streak but it was red. I've started taking antibiotics. So hoping it could be linked to that or that its just something that's been dislodged somehow. Trying my best not to panic! X

You’re always going to worry, only natural! My friend was at a wedding in her first trimester and starting heavily bleeding during the ceremony - I’m talking so heavy they had to throw out the chair! Her baby is now a healthy 3 year old. There are always loads of random reasons you could be bleeding so try not to get worked up about it. A tiny bit is quite normal x

Oh my goodness! She must have been terrified and mortified in equal measures! How good that the baby was ok. I've calmed down a bit. I'm wondering if I've got a sensitive cervix, maybe an ectropian. Or it could just be random! I'll mention it to the midwife but staying hopeful xx

This is such a worrying time as we all wait for the 12 week scan so you’re just acting the same as any of us would. But it sounds like it’s only a small bit and probably nothing to worry about. I’m also talking to my tummy every day!

True, we are all in the same boat. I think everything is heightened from our loss last year, and how long we have waited for this baby. We had an early scan with the baby we lost, and saw a heartbeat. So this time we have decided just to wait! About 4 more weeks til scan time!

Happy March ladies!

I like to think of this as the start of spring. Although looking at the weather outside you wouldn't think so!

Some of us will have our dating scans this month, how exciting going off lmp I'll be 12 weeks at the very end of the month, so mine will probably be the beginning of april!

This is a but random but I took over as admin of a fb group for October 2020 Babies in Australia and good lord, the drama! Someone allowed men in the group and now there's a massive debate going on and since I'm admin my phone is blowing up. So not happy. I love having a tiny group like this so much more.

Is it still really warm where you are in Aus? I'd be lying if I said I wasnt jealous - we have had a good winter in terms of there has been no bad snow. However we have had awful gale force winds and rain! Totally miserable weather. I long for the warmer weather!

I'm not gonna lie that sounds like my idea of hell - there is nothing worse than groups where people just bicker. This website is amazing for that - every single person here is just lovely and so supportive!
