October 2017 mummies :-)

I checked and you can , was only the epidural you can't have, got confused .

I am here sweating and thinking that it was my worst nightmare to be pregnant over the summer when it is hot and there we are :D

I hope your little one is feeling well soon Heather :( And I'm glad you're feeling a bit better too Allysa. I really am not enjoying this heat, I'm not a heat lover anyways never mind when pregnant, my head is banging!

He hasn't as many spots today but still has the blisters on hands and feet so had to keep him off nursery.
Got my scan soon and feeling nervous !
Didn't sleep well last night not sure if it's because I had Reuben in bed with me, thinking about Scan or the heat x

Hope your little one will feel better soon , Heather. Good luck with the scan later x

It is so hot and I am in my black jeans as usual and I am melting. Tomorrow I have shopping day planned with my husband, looks like nothing really fits me and I had a breakdown again ( all my short dressers from last year are top sized nowadays).

Anyone else with swollen ankles? Mine don't look good at all. I said ? I thought I would wait until Tuesday for my scan and maybe I could check there blood pressure as I want to make sure it is not going up.

Looks like it is going to be a hot weekend x

I suffered with horrible fat feet and ankles last pregnancy there wasn't any reason behind mine but maybe ask your midwife, try to have them up as much as possible to help the swelling go down! Hope your scan went well Heather mines at 4! Xx

Unfortunately I am sitting from half 7 until 5 at work so can't keep them up much during the day :( I had a look and don't look like I have ankles anymore, they are the same size as the legs, awful.

Aw, another scan today! Good luck , Vickilou ! x

Scan was all good she had to chase him about as he wouldn't sit still and confirmed 100% boy
We went for lunch with my little boy it was nice just not as relaxing lol
I would phone midwife about swollen ankles to put my mind at ease as I no the place I go get my scan it's just really scans and not checking blood pressure etc

How did the scan go heather?
Waiting for my whooping cough vaccination. Why are the docs always delayed? And its so hot in the waiting room

Just seen your message Heather, the internet was rubbish in the waiting room, excellent news on the scan.
I've now come home, opened all the doors and windows and collapsed. Might go to the garage to see if I can find the fan. Even if I don't need it tonight I think my cat does! xx

Scan was good for us too and we are having another boy :-) xx

Aww I think the boys are out numbering the girls but I could be wrong?
It's been so hot today windows have been wide open all day but meant to be back to rain tomorrow x

Yay, great news about the scan ladies! Vickilou I have a scan with my lo in exactly the same position( from 16 weeks ) :D

I said to wait because during the weekend I am not working and if the swelling isn't getting better then I will call the midwife on Monday.
Baby's moving? My one is either lazy or changed position. When before I used to feel kicks not I have pressure pains here and here and tightenings, sometimes I feel like scratches inside .Only a few days and I will finally see my baby again. Looks like I am the only one left without scan?

How was the vaccine Amy? I am not sure if to do it or not, no one even told me about it

It was fine, just a small prick.....
She said my arm might ache for a few days. Its fine at the moment so I'll see if it does tomorrow. The whooping cough part is to cover me and the baby until the baby is 8 weeks old and can have its jabs. It also had a booster for polio, diphtheria and tetanus (I think that's what she said).

I seem to be getting a few good prods every now and then. Usually when I'm lounging out on the sofa or when I'm driving. Maybe the position making me feel it more or the babies reaction to my rage about annoying drivers?!

Exciting news about your next scan. I cant wait to see mine again at the private scan and its only been a week and a half since the last one.

Brilliant news on scans ladies :) Allysa's scan next I believe?

Heather, I hope your little boy gets better soon :(

I think I'm the only one who's enjoying the heat haha we went to the beach today :) was nice to get out of London for the day. But I'm super exhausted and am still suffering with this cough/cold thing :( I now have an ear infection also....not feeling great :( my ankles swell the tiniest bit...I have wondered if they'll get worse as the weeks go on....

Also....awkward question! How's everyone's bladder control? I only ask as I cough frequently with this cold virus thing I have...I have noticed that I have to concentrate to make sure I don't pee!! Can anyone else relate???

Have a lovely weekend!

A day at the beach sounds lovely. I'm into my 2.5 weeks leave now and I'm so happy about it, and hubby should be home around midnight Thursday, yay!

Haven't noticed any issues yet with bladder control, but then I haven't had to sneeze or cough really. I'll keep an eye out for that lovely symptom! I do feel like I need to wee a lot, and I know when I go there will be hardly anything and it will feel pointless. Was worried I was getting a UTI but there's no pain, thankfully.

My arm aches this morning where I had the vaccination. Nothing major, just an aching in the muscle at the top of the arm where the needle went in.

Lying in bed this morning and there's a big, hard bulge above my groin where baby must be. Hoping she wakes up and gives me a few pokes before I give in and get up for breakfast x

My 20 week scan isn't until 6th June :) My bladder control isn't great, my hayfever flared up last week and it made me realise I needed to work on my pelvic floor exercises!
