I wasn't bothered either way if it was a boy or girl but a boy saves me money as I have loads from Reuben he he he
She said he was lying in great position and as soon as she looked in that area I seen straight away a boy
 
Same was with my scan Heather, I have seen straight away it' s a boy :D I was thinking today how likely would be to actualy be a girl and had her little bits swollen? haha that would be a big surprise. However I am sure it's a boy.

Today I bought first things for the baby, just 2 sets of clothes , nothing more but I was very excited until my brother told me it is not too early to buy things and all my entusiasm dissapeared. I had pains all day in my stomach areas..and felt exhausted after a few hours out , lying in bed currently .

I did speak to a friend of a friend who went to same place I got scan and she was told she was having a boy but turned out to be a girl. I am certain i seen boy bits!
I started to write a list of things I need to buy and thankfully not very much :)
I am going to wait until after 20 weeks scan to buy things x
 
Hope you're feeling better allysa. I've been getting some twinges this evening. I assume its the ligaments.

My husbands back for two weeks around the 21-23 week point so I am hoping we can do a fair bit of shopping then. We will need pretty much everything so I'm expecting to have a massive list!
I hit 17 weeks tomorrow, yay x

I am feeling a little better but had all morning sharp pains in my right stomach areas and had pains in my left breast . When I have lot of work to do doesn't really help...

Amy, that is very good news! It will be very nice to be able to sort out the things for the baby with your husband .

I am feeling so tired today. I am up every night for the toilet and am awake for ages after and then everytime I move I wake up.
We went shopping today but my little boy was playing up as he is a spoilt little boy so I didn't get to have a look properly at clothes.
 
I'm feeling heartburny but otherwise fine. Stressed that it's tri two already I feel like it's going fast so far.
Booked for a gender scan in three weeks although I feel it will be a girl. Waiting until then to buy stuff as with the others I never ended up using the nutural stuff last time. I did get a bouncer and bath bouncer from my auntie because they where too good to pass up. (£4 for a bouncer that vibrates and it looks like new).
I keep looking at travel systems but there are so many, and some of the prices are eye watering. Some cost more than my first car did!! Xx
 
I am lucky I kept loads from my little boy so only really need to buy new mattresses which don't cost much and I am going to get a new colour pack for the pram so it's a bit different which is £75 then it's just bits and bobs really.
I have my 16 weeks modwife appointment on Wednesday although I am 17 weeks today :)
 
Being my first child all I have is 2 sets of sleep suits which I bought yesterday from tk maxx :D I checked stuff online but most of them are so expensive.. After the 20 week scan we will be doing proper shopping, until then just lists. Soon we should start feeling the babies, I am so excited.. I feel flutters and things inside but I don't think I felt the baby. 17 weeks one day today :d ( my ticker in 2 days behind)

I haven't saved anything from my kids I got rid of it all! I'm kicking myself because I stumbled across a boots sale earlier in the year. Slings for £5 from £50 (they are still on sale in boots full price) growbags £3 down from £30 so I bought most of it and gave them away as gifts and sold some and now i wish I'd saved some for myself!! Apparently when they change packaging even slightly boots wack a load on a shelf super cheap but don't advertise it. I've never seen any before or since that day!
 
I need to get everything. I'm excited to start shopping but also dreading it. I feel like once we start it will feel like we have so much to get and have so many decisions to make, does that make sense?

Great to see you over in tri 2 redbear. It still feels like its going slowly for me. I suppose that's cos I feel like I don't really look pregnant and haven't felt anything. So it all still feels a bit odd and not really real. x
 
Same here, I want a real bump. I fell and look just fat now, I don't know why belly seems to get smaller but I get fatter on the sides, no waist already.

Yesterday I was very angry and cried, felt my pulse going up. Don't know if it was only hormones , I asked my OH to cook me dinner as I was very tired, felt asleep in the meantime and woke up screaming at him how hungry I am and why he didn't cooked me something. He went then to prepare something but I was too upset and shouting at him I don't want a thing and how he is making me angry and hurting the baby. God, I do sound like a horrible person while reading it.
I just feel so tired some days, I can't cope with work and coming home to cook and clean. Mommies with more children are heroines.

Morning all,

How was your bank holiday weekend? I have been feeling a bit ropey, got a poorly tummy :( am feeling all anxious again, 18 weeks tomorrow but the flutters aren't regular which makes me worry, other than having a bad bloating tummy am not feeling pregnant :( x
 
Hey guys!!! Just been catching up with everything.

So I see some of us have found out what we are having!!! Exciting times. I feel like this is a boy! Let's wait and see.

I'm 18 weeks today and officially showing now.

Had a lovely break away...but I did manage to get a second degree burn on my chest from the sun :( extremely painful.

I haven't booked a private scan but I'm tempted!!

I hope you've all been well x
 
Hope you had a lovely holiday Olivia (apart from the 2nd degree burn auchh ).

I felt as well from the beginning it is a boy but hoped I was wrong haha. I really love this little one , I have started to talk to him and play baby music before bed . Can't wait for the moment I will have him in my arms

Flick , my flutters are not regular either, I used to feel it in the morning but today nothing so far, I get more pains lately . However I try not to worry , maybe he is just resting or he is lazy :D

I'm feeling really fed up and miserable tonight. I just cant be bothered with anything. Probably a mixture of tiredness and boredom. I'm just feeling fat with no waist too.

Hope you're feeling better flick. I've not felt anything yet. Cant wait to feel it and have that bit of reassurance. But guessing it will be a few weeks.

Olivia- sorry to hear about the sunburn but I hope you had a good time apart from that. 5 weeks til I get to have a holiday, cant wait. I get tempted to put in a few days leave here and there to give me some more time off work, but it feels like a waste as I'd do nothing. But then I do have a years worth of leave to use up......! Ha x
