October 2017 mummies :-)

Oh Lea, sorry tou are having such a rough time. Take some rest and hopefully you will feel better x

Heather, looks like you are the only one around with lovely plans :D

Olivia, I had this kind of migraine if you remember I even said it here, it wast last week I believe and it was awful. Luckily next day I woke up witout it, must be a pregnancy thing?

Today I woke up 8, been baking some traditional cakes for Easter and painting eggs, then housework and it was 5 already.Had to lay down, I started having some sharp backpain, I sat down and couldn't stand up! Unbelievable, it was the first time I got such pain. I think it was because I stand all day and didn't rest .

Ladies, hope we will all fell better x

Sorry to hear how rubbish you are feeling Lea and Olivia. Pleased to hear that the midwives and hosp were so good Lea, try to rest and concentrate on looking after yourself.
Olivia- I hear you with the headaches. I haven't had a migraine but get a lot of headaches. My husband keeps telling me to drink more water, but its so hard. I drink loads of water anyway, all I have throughout the day is orange squash. Its crazy to think how much water we must need at the moment.

You sound like you've had a really productive day Allysa, I feel really lazy now! x

Oh no lea! I hope you feel better soon xx fainting is horrible :( I am a chronic fainter! The after effects are the worst. Rest as much as you can xx

Oh girls hope you all feel better soon.
I am doing much better only been retching over the toilet every morning instead of the constant vomiting so I am so glad I have got over the worst and I can handle the retching x

I've got nothing I want to wear and nothing I feel comfortable in. Boooo! Annoying in between stage.

Has anyone had people trying to touch their bump/bloat yet? I went to visit my granny yesterday (she annoys me at the best of times) and as soon as I walked in she was all 'hows my baby?' And went to pat my tummy. Last time I let her off but it was quite annoying especially as it was tender. I stopped her this time and she got a bit annoyed. She seems to think its acceptable but I don't, and its annoying. I think you should always wait for someone to invite you to touch it- like if its moving, or at least ask first. What do you guys think?

I'm not looking forward to that Amy, if I'm honest. I'm a say it how it is kind of person. I think I'll snap at a few people....especially OH family :wall2:

I would have done the same! I don't think anyone should just come over and invade your personal space like that xx

Hey ladies hope you are having a good Easter, I have my midwife appointment on Tuesday And just praying fir a heartbeat, other than feeling and looking fat and having awful skin I have no other symptoms, so am worried it's all gone again :(

I know exactly how you're feeling Flick. My next appointment is a week after yours and I'm nervous to hear the heartbeat as well. For every appointment I think 'as long as everything is ok this time I'll be able to relax more going forwards', and then after about a week I'm starting to worry again. But I am sure everything will be ok for us, I keep trying to lean towards the power of positive thinking (even though I don't usually believe in that kind of stuff)

I'm so uncomfortably bloated at the moment. I went for dinner at my parents and sitting up straight at the table was so uncomfortable. I just wanted to go and lounge on the sofa.

Everything will be fine Flick, same as you girls I am worried if the baby is fine there and afraid of not hearing the heartbeat at next midwife appt next Monday. Will try the positive thinking as well Amy, at least I live with the most positive person in the world (my husband), because I am a native worrier and stressed (working on that).
My doppler will arrive hopefully on Wednesday and I will give it a go. I tried hard not to buy one but I could't help myself with all these toughts.

Today I almost fainted in the church (weird), had to go out ,take some fresh air and sit for a bit to feel better. Feeling much better being in bed for the rest of the day. I am having loads of food, my appetite has increased ( so did my fat).

Well, weekend almost gone and a new week ahead, I could really do with a few more days off
x

Thanks everyone, I'm feeling better now, just very tired. My app this morning said this is literally the best time of pregnancy as you feel well, have so much energy, etc, etc - I nearly threw my phone at the wall, lol, I'm feeling fat, bloated, slow, itchy, the list goes on....
I'm trying not to moan, lol, I truly am grateful, it's just my last pregnancy, apart from the end, was brilliant, and this is the opposite.
Got to wait another 9 days for my midwife appt but seeing as I saw one at the hospital on Saturday and got throughly checked out, I don't mind too much!
Still using the Doppler, bet you can't wait for yours Allysa! Baby doesn't like mine, I find it, then it decides to move away from it!

Oh, and I would go mad at people touching my belly - especially my fat, bloated, sticking out belly at the moment!
I started to wear my maternity jeans and they are so comfy - I can't go back to my old trousers now, there is no going back!

Hope everyone has had a good Easter?
Xxx

Hope you are all enjoying the Easter bank holiday.

Officially in the second trimester now finally! Felt like that took forever.

Felt nausea a few times this week in the mornings but generally feeling okay. Moods are a bit better.

How are you all? Sorry to hear about the fainting :-(

Morning ,

Yes Lea, can't wait to have my Doppler delivered! I just hope I will manage to find the heartbeat before my midwife appt next Monday. This Sunday I have my gender scan which makes me even more excited .
Who else in working on Bank Holiday today? x

Welcome officially to 2nd trimester ladybugs x!

Yay, great to see you over here ladybugs. And pleased to hear that you're feeling a bit better.
I've hit 15 weeks this morning, hoping the week goes quickly.
Excited to hear about your Doppler Allysa. I'm tempted but trying to keep away otherwise I know I'll panic and use it all the time.
Fortunately I'm not working today, not looking forward to gong back tomorrow. x

My last pregnancy my mother in law was the one who kept wanting to touch my bump. She has already touched my belly already and it made me cringe
First morning I haven't had to run to the toilet :)

I would not enjoy someone touching my bump either! But will be enough to give them one of those looks and no one will even try. People know I hate touching's haha. They will probably be upset but who cares.

At the moment I am going to the loo every hour and twice per night. I wonder if later I will go more often than that .

Mood today: feeling fat

Well I've not 'popped' but I definitely have a bump coming. I'm usually a size 8 so its easy to hide under clothes but I know its coming. Been feeling really hungry today as well. Managed to be good and have a fair amount of fruit and veg, but all I want is chocolate and toast. How's everyone else doing?

Good luck to those with 16 week appts this week x

Hey guys, just catching up!

I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend!

I have my 16 week appointment tomorrow at 1pm....I believe we will be hearing the heartbeat. I have an anterior placenta and I've read that because of the placenta being at the front, it almost hides the baby! So sometimes it is hard to pick up heartbeat at this stage? Will be feeling reassured after the appointment (hopefully), but as some of you ladies said...a few days later we are back to worrying!

Less than 5 weeks till next scan! And 6 days till I go on holiday.....sunshine here I come :D spent the weekend looking at all the sales online. Asda baby event is on and they have some good deals!

Morning all!

Back to work boooooo! I have my midwife appointment today at 9.30, barely slept last night worrying about hearing th heartbeat etc I wish the baby was kicking and then I would know all is ok but only felt small flutters and not even convinced they were the baby and not wind!!! Got my bloods at the hospital at 11.40 today too as they couldn't do the nuceal (don't know who to spell it) test at my 12 weeks as baby wasn't playing ball, so hoping them tests are ok too, feel like all I am doing at the moment is worrying!

All being well today, then I can look forward to the gender scan on Saturday with the kdis!

Just hope hope hope today goes ok, have a right hard solid bump now so that makes me feel a bit better than the flabby moving mess that has been there the past few weeks!

hope you are all ok, sun is shining today, maybe a good sign? Fingers crossed xx

Flick and Olivia, good luck with the appointments today! How exciting, you will get to hear your little one's heart ! Even if you have an anterior placenta, maybe the position of the baby will be good so you will be able to heart the hb, fingers crossed for both of you and waiting for updates ! x
