Cool, I will have a look online. I haven't bought anything yet, it feels too soon and I don't want my husband to miss out on it all. Although saying that my sister has been getting rid of my nephews baby stuff so I have in storage a Moses basket, jumperoo, room thermometer/light up thing, and a bath seat.
I'm getting quite fed up with the in between fat/wobbly/bump thing. In the morning I look relatively normal, just wobblier. By the evening I have bloated to a point where I think I will pop. I want there to be a noticeable bump that I can rub and then give everyone a look saying 'see, I told you I was pregnant'. Haha

For maternity clothes I think Dorothy Perkins and New Look seem pretty good and cheap, esp for basics. I'm also going to hit Primark at the end of the month for bigger vest tops, etc. I think for those I'll just go a size bigger. I'll probably try them for maxi dresses closer to summer too.
Someone recommend George at Asda as well and there stuff looked good. Only problem there is I'm not sure what size I am with them, whereas with DP and NL I already know x

First thing I will probably buy is the Ewan the dream sheep. I seen it the other day and we tempted to get it but didn't then when I got home I thought to myself why didn't I just buy it lol
One of the best buys for my son he loved it and it was well used until no legs played anything. It's still in his bed though

My husband dreamed last night that we had a girl, he said she was the most beautiful little girl he has ever seen , brunette with brown eyes. I have already dreamed a couple of times that I had a girl, I am so impatient to know if I will have a boy or girl . But knowing my luck it will be a boy . I would not mind really , as long as he is healthy, I am afraid to say out load that I want a girl so I just secretly desire one.
Who is having first the 20 week scan? Mine is on 30th May...ages to wait.

Lol, I have a 5 year old girl, so I would like this one to be a boy - but girls are soooo cute, and I have all the girlie stuff...so I really don't mind. I'm guessing boy this timebut only because this pregnancy has been the opposite to my last one - I'm much more sick, fat, and craving all things savoury and bland. I was convinced my daughter was a boy though, so my opinion counts for nothing!
Allysa, my 20 week scan is the 16th may. However, I've booked a gender scan for next Saturday - eek! I really hope baby is playing ball and we can get a good view. The other main reason is so our daughter can come along and find out if it's a brother or sister, as she is at school for all the NHS scans.
Hopefully some more of the October mummies will start coming over from tri 1, it can't be that long - I suppose coz I'm right at the beginning it's weird to think they are 3-4 weeks behind....

I have a little boy already and I think secretly I would like another boy just because we have so much stuff that can be passed down.
I have been in contact to get a private scan done and usually it's from 16 weeks but they said they would do it when I was 15 weeks 6 days so I am trying to get that booked but they take ages to get back to messages as they are short staffed.if I get the date that would be Sunday 23rd and it will be nice to take my little boy along although I don't no how much he understands as I tell him mummy has a baby in her belly and he tells me he has one in his belly lol

Hey all,
Been on a nice long break up in the lakes so just got back, my 20 week scan is on the 18th May, but as I am impatient and want the kids with me for the gender scan we are going next Saturday for a private one, but I have asked that I go in first and check for heart beat, am so worried about it still!
Asked the kids what they want and one wants a boy and one wants a girl, so one is going ot be happy lol! I don't mind, would be nice to have a girl as I can do the whole girly stuff but then am used to a boy x

Booked my private gender scan for Sunday , 23rd April . Couldn't resist until end of May myself and everyone in my family is so impatient to know!

I phoned the midwife earlier to ask about the results for the Down's syndrome test as it's been over 2 weeks. She checked the computer and I was low risk. She did say a load of results got posted last week and none could be in that pile. Well postie has just come and right enough he posted my results x
My 20 week scan is the 16th May and I'll find out the gender then. I feel like that gives me a break before I have to start buying things (feeling lazy at the mo). My husband is adamant it will be a boy. He's been winding up friends and family for ages that he can only have boys, so whenever I mention the baby he just says 'boy' or 'our son'! But I know he wouldn't care what it was really. I secretly would like a girl (a- so I can laugh in his face) cos my sister has boys so it would be nice to have a girl. But I'm not really allowing myself to think that!
I might have an additional scan a few weeks later when my husband is home for a break during his deployment. But it depends how much it costs and how keen he is to actually see a scan.

Our next scan is the 22nd of May, I would like to find out but OH wants to keep it a surprise 
anyone else in this situation? It's my first but his second. I want to find out so I can buy everything before baby arrives. OH says we can buy 1 multipack of white bodysuits and buy everything else once baby is here. The last thing on my mind will be shopping for baby clothes!!!

Must be difficult Olivia. Have you both explained your reasons why. Maybe if he knows how much you don't want to have to shop afterwards he'll agree with you. But then you might not need to, you might get loads of gifts. Fortunately me and my husband both want to know. I cant be bothered to try and choose a name it will never be called. Not planning on going OTT with pink or blue stuff, but the waiting to find out is holding me back from the shopping!x

Sorry Olivia that you are in this situation, you need to explain him that is important for you being your first to know , maybe he will change his mind. It is good you want to be with a step ahead and get everything sorted and ready when the baby arrives.
I started to have a bit easier nights, last night I woke up just once ! I will buy a pregnancy pillow as I get pretty uncomfortable now, not because my bump is too big, but it hurts in some positions.
How is everyone preparing for Easter? I got a cold now just when I thought I will get away without , I feel poorly , every time I cough I feel pain down there, hope it is normal .

I'm really missing sleeping on my front.
I keep waking up with random pains - either a pain in my chest under my ribs, or this morning it was the right-side of my lower back. Was worried it might be a water infection but then it went away. I assume random aches and pains may become the normal now. Feeling pretty much back to normal apart from the bloat- so obviously this is making me worry a bit again! Weighed myself at my parents today and I think I've put on a couple of lbs, so that's good.
I've got my nephew for Easter Sunday as my sister moved today. Got him a load of eggs to do a hunt, but I get the feeling one might not make it.
So excited to think people will find out the gender soon. The next 5.5 weeks will feel so long x

I am sleeping half on my front , half on the side. I always wonder if is not bad for the baby and which would be the best position. Like you Amy, I always wake up with some pains which disappear thankfully.
I really want to buy a doopler now. Anyone knows any shop where I can find it apart from ordering online? Tried with amazon but it will arrive next Tuesday and I really want it for tomorrow. x
