*** October 2015 Mummies ***

Lovely bump, Carrie!

I can't remember how often I saw the midwife with my DS, but it does seem like they don't see you as often over here as they do in the UK... At least not in the beginning. We have the booking appt in week 8-12, blood samples in week 12-13 (just drop-in at the lab), the scan in week 18, 2nd midwife appt in week 24, and then appts in weeks 28, 32, 36, 38, and 40 (and of course after that if you go overdue). It seems like ages before my next appt with the midwife!

How often do you guys see your midwife/GP in the first half of pregnancy?

Lovely little bumps girls! And such a cute scan!

I've yet to have anyone ask me if I'm pregnant, I seem to have an awful lots of loose clothes that hide everything. Still managing to fit into one pair of jeans and I found a pair that I bought big a couple of years ago, think I should get another few weeks out of them too. I really don't want to have to spend money on maternity stuff. Roll on the summer when I can wear floaty dresses every day!

Started taking Zantac today, the reflux has been horrendous. So bad I nearly vom'ed :( seems to be working already thank god. Anyone else suffering from reflux?

I seen mw for booking in appt about 7 weeks
Again at 11/12w cos im going into aspirin
12w is the dating scan
See midwife again at 16 weeks
Anomaly scan at 20w aswell as my endocrinologist specialist cos of my underactive thyroid
I'll have scans around 28 32 and 36 aswell i think?

I have reflux littletwix
Dont take anything for it though
I find being sick helps as i can usually eat after i vomit! X

I had my 1st appointment at 5 weeks, next at 8, 12 week scan + consultation, next appt with midwife is scheduled for week 17. I will get extra scans too due to my rhaumatoid arthritis - week 28 amd 36 I think x

Great pics everyone :)

I've had 2 alrightish days woo hoo I even managed to re-pot my new blueberry bush and dwarf raspberry bush today that were my early bday pressies, then I got some seeds potted up to propagate ready for planting out in May (lots of hocks and sweetpeas so I have a lovely fragrant flowery garden to sit my big ass bump in this summer while I'm eating my blueberries and raspberries lol!!!!) I was really impressed with myself it's most effort I've done in 6weeks and was good to get some fresh air :)
We've also booked a week in Wales for our summer hols so I have something to look forward to!!

Cute funny thing happened today my ds doesn't know about the baby as I can't face explaining if something is wrong at the scan so we will tell him when we know all is ok, anyway he sat next to me today and stroked my tummy so gently for about half an hour, he has literally never done that before it was lovely, I can't wait for him to know now :)

Im going to wales in may
Near snowdonia!
Originally we'd booked camping but will stay in a caravan now
Have had to cancel the zipline we were gonna be doing! :(

Yeah we are doing a caravan too, I made hubby upgrade to the deluxe plus ones so it would be comfy if it rains all week :-D we are somewhere in south Wales I think at a Haven site, it's our first Haven hol thought hubby could take ds to do all the activities while I beach Whale it up in the pool or on the beach lol!!!

We've got a 7 night break booked in a cottage in Yorkshire for about 3 weeks before I'm due! Sadly we think the best thing to do is now Cancel :-( gutted; if I had waited 3 days to book it, I'd have known I was pregnant and would have planned differently!

We've been on many haven holidays, I went as a kid every year and me and OH have been on them a few times, mainly using the camp as a base to explore. Hoping to organise one next year when LO is here and around 6 months old, with our best friends who will have a 2yr old.i hope they like the idea when we tell them!

Well I'm 13 weeks today. Scan is on Tuesday. So want it here so I can stop worrying. Nausea also returned in the last few days :( hope everyone is having a lovely Easter x

Hope everyone is well, for a change we actually have a beautiful day here in Scotland x

Thanks Carrie we were wondering if it would be good as never done a Haven before so glad you've enjoyed them, I think my little boy will love it :) sorry you have to cancel your Yorkshire trip it's where I'm from so I'm biased as a Yorkshire lass but you would have loved it!

Flisstebs wow Canada soooooooo jealous :)

Hi Ladies,

still suffering here with Morning sickness!

Had my scan...all okay! but they moved my due date to the 19th October! I guessed this would happen as it took us a long time to get a positive on a pregnancy test so must have OV'd later than I thought. With Oliver I had a positive 3 days before period due so this was a shy bean.

Means I have to stay in Tri1 a little bit longer.

Hope you're all okay xx

Ah thats a pain Bonfire Bride, i got moved 10 days originally (ive now caught up by 4 days) i should have been a Sept mummy but i knew due to long cycles etc i would be pushed out. However im just glad that everything is ok. Im sure you'd gladly spend another couple of days in Tri1 just to know everything is ok :)
We'll keep your seat warm in Tri2.

Hows everyone today? x
