Hi I'm Fliss. I may be a bad influence here, as I've poas every other day now for 2 weeks!!

I was brave enough to do the next digi today and got 3+.

I'm a bit of a nervous Nellie, as I don't have the best past pregnancy history, but so far things are looking good. Last week I had hcg bloods done which went from 210 to 542 in 48hrs. First scan is booked for 18th Feb when I should be 7weeks. I'm on the same medication I was on for my 5th and successful pregnancy, heparin injections, aspirin, progesterone and steroids. I never know how many of the symptoms I get are due to the meds or not?

Due date is 7th Oct.

Littletwix: I've failed miserably at "not getting overexcited".

Baby2sky: I'm hoping we can be good luck for each other

It will be nice to get to know everyone, there wasn't a thread like this last time I was in tri1.

Welcome Tasha! There seems to be quite a lot of activity on this thread all right, it's great

I went to Tesco express on my lunch but they didn't have any pregnancy tests, I got three cheapie ones in the chemist up the road. Still haven't forked out for a digi test. I might splurge on one as a weekend treat!

When is everyone going for their first scan? According to the doctor I'm 6 weeks but I know that with my dates I'm 4. I think it's way too early to get a scan... I think the week after next might be a good time to get one done. I don't want to have a scan too early and the dr not being able to see anything. That would probably just upset me

Im being scanned next week at 6+5. I should see a heart beat then (all being well) . I would say in normal circumstances to wait until 7 weeks as then you should really see a heart beat xx how come your doc thinks you're 6 weeks xxx

We don't get a 12 week scan here in Norway, so I'll have to wait until week 17-19

I had an early scan at 8+4 with my DS due to some minor bleeding, but hoping to avoid that this time round, even if the prospect of an early scan seems tempting

Hi, I would like to join you ladies if that's ok. We got BFP last week for #2. According to due date calendar we are due 4th October. Had some complications last time with pre-eclampsia, so little nervous about the pregnancy, but delighted to be cooking the next member of the family. Only Hubbie & I know at the moment. I have only recently returned to work full time after my first baby, so quite nervous about telling work I'm pregnant again, think my boss may be a bit put out as some of my duties will have to be changed, due to risks involved! Has anyone else told their work, how did it go down? Very excited to be expecting again. Suffered quite badly with morning sickness in my first pregnancy, but so far, no sickness, some mild nausea, tiredness & cramping. Hope we all have a healthy happy 9 months x

Can I join you all? Got my BFP yesterday. I make it I'm 4+4 and due on 12th October.

I haven't told a soul other than my OH. I can't wait for these next 8 weeks to pass so I can start getting excited!

Oh dear! Nausea... I think it slowly starts kicking in for me! My stomach feels weird this morning, I can't stop burping...
Also, what worries me a little I got such bad trapped wind this morning I thought my stomach was going to explode! I was actually very painful

I'm still symptomless, waaaah. Going to see the obstetrician for the first time on Tuesday - eeek! He's going to do a scan but I know he's not going to see anything. Hopefully he'll do bloods and I can have my mind put at ease about my progesterone

Did yet another test this morning and it was darker than yesterday, yay

Woohoo! Darker lines are always great to see

The burping is not unpleasant but annoying. Very weird. And whenever I eat or drink my stomach rumbles like mad. I've always had a very fast metabolism, wonder if that is the cause of all the burps and... sorry for tmi, farts!
