That's a very detailed appointment - just what I like! And you are going to see the little bean again, how amazing!

I have my appointment on Monday, hope they take my bloods then! I'm a bit worried about anemia... x

Yeah its quite full blood work
Checks for deficiencies, infections, my thyroid levels will get checked again too

Also had my carbon monoxide levels checked again even though im a non smoker
I filled in i dont drink alcohol but she never mentioned anything about it though x

yeah that carbon monoxide thing was weird! I find it difficult to blow the air out for longer than 5sec :oooo: What did you get? I got 2.

Yeah slow blow for 15 seconds
I got 2 too
I dunno why but i was disappointed i wanted zero
How dare i breathe it out. Haha

haha! I was the same, thinking '2?! I've never smoked a single cigarette in my life!' But of course there are other toxins in the air...

Well generally you breathe carbon dioxide out
Its not terribly different to carbon monoxide really is it x

What's this about carbon monoxide then? I didn't have that the last time I was pregnant

Its more about smokers or if youre a non smoker but may still be around people who smoke... i guess its just to monitor you and advise really x

I had the carbon monoxide thing too. Both pregnancies I got 2 as well lol. I also had bloods taken for iron, infections etc so I think thats standard. My midwife was surprised I'd left it so late to book in but this was the first appt in 3 weeks lol! Are you classed as high risk too mrss? X

Pumpkin...I had a bleed at 8 weeks with Oliver and it was exactly when my period would have been due. It's blinking frightening, but everything was fine. Hope Friday comes quickly for you...will be lovely for you to see the little one again!

Oliver will be 2 years and 3 months when this one arrives...I must be crazy! I am looking forward to having nearly a year off with them both though as I work full time atm.

Dare I say it??.....sickness has eased today! Woop woop!

I cant wait for that either bonfire bride! I only work part time but horrible shifts so cant wait to have a year with both my babies! Although my daughter will be 2 years 8 months by the time little one arrives. Hopefully she will be a little better behaved by then lol. Any of you mummies of little ones going to be tackling toilet training soon? I want her dry before baby arrives but not sure if that's realistic?

I'm really looking forward to Friday. I'm keeping everything crossed.
All being well my sons going to be 1 year and 8 months (baby2sky I clearly have baby brain as I thought your lg was nearly the same age but she's a year older) when baby arrives - I must be nuts! I'll have been back at work full time for 6 months so can't wait for another year off with the both.

Baby2sky- I need to toilet train my little girl she will be 2 this May...I haven't tackled it yet she will be 2 years 5 months when the new baby arrives. I'm thinking of taking maybe a week off work and just totally focusing on training her...I haven't properly looked up best ways to do it yet x

Aww pumpkin thats great to only be back for a short period of time, bet youre already on countdown lol. Good luck Friday I'm sure all will be fine!

That's a good idea about taking a week off work Stacey! I think im gonna wait a while to tackle it tho as we have a few holidays coming up before July so dont know whether to wait till after then as dont fancy worrying about toilets and potties while trying to relax on the beach!

Im high risk too mrss. Its quite reassuring tho isn't it to know we are being well looked after. I was high risk last time too and don't think I could handle a "regular" pregnancy! I like seeing people lots lol

Its breaks up the weight a bit i suppose lol x

There's quite a few of us with LO's that will be 2+ on due date. My DD will be 2 1/2 and I'm hoping more controllable! She's showing no signs of understanding weewees and poopoos (!) yet, so I'm not going to rush it - would be good if sorted before baby though.
I took a year off work last time, but I might only manage 9 months this time financially as I'd like DD to continue in nursery. I think it would be good to give the second baby the same attention as DD received in the early months and DD is progressing so well in nursery, I'd hate for her to become bored at home. I don't get much in the way of mat pay though, and we've just bought a house that needs serious money spending on it, so this might become unrealistic! Those of you with LO's in nursery - what are your plans when bubba is born? xx

I'm just starting my daughter in nursery after Easter for that very reason mrsv! I want to be able to have some 1:1 time with the new baby, and I think my daughter will benefit from it too.

I'm really struggling tonight. Symptoms are roughly the same in terms of the bleeding but I'm starting to overthink it now. Wish Friday would hurry up
